The book is easily provable dreck. It is amateurish. I characterized his bibliography as "A selection of common general references and coffee table books..."

Bret and Heather talk constantly about what a disaster peer review turned out to be....sounds good to the ears......completely fails to work.

In Moiser's case, I suspect not one reviewer actually bothered to read any of his book. They likely just thumbed through it, saw it was properly annotated according to practice and gave it an okey doak.

That happens.....another thing that happens is anything that challenges the reviewers work thus career and looks right gets condemned to keep it from being published.....in an dark age this nasty there is no interest in getting to the truth.....we saw that in spades with COVID.

Let's leave out ones that refute it, look at it dispassionately as something of a conspiracy theory, and just focus on those that are serious in claiming that it is a real event.
