Does it disqualify Pete Buttigieg?

In your mind, when you go to boat, does the fact that Pete Buttigieg is married to a man and has children disqualifies him from public office?

If you otherwise agreed with him on other issues, would you still not support him?
The MAGA moron concept of 'morality' is very flexible. They supported, defended, and worshiped a guy who cheated on all his wives, fucked a porn actress when newly wed to Melania, defrauded his own charity, and was found liable by juries for sexual assault, defamation, and business fraud.

Why would any of this matter?
We have had gay Presidents before and why would anybody adopting a child matter?
I go a long with some of the things he is for , not all but some, and he has some experience in running a government, yes it was only a small city but it is a lot more then the moron we have in there now.
So why not?

Because the guy is a cocksucker isn't the reason he's unqualified to even attempt
to run for the presidency. No, one reason he can't or shouldn't run for president is
because he was the worse Transportation Secretary in our nation's history.

But if he were supporting your side and very confident, you would vote for him?

How and or why would he support my Republican/Conservative side. Democrats (including Buttleg)
don't support anything we pro American-America First people believe in.

In 2020 Buttigieg had a good showing in lily white Iowa and New Hampshire. Then he moved to the more diverse state of South Carolina and got crushed, especially among black voters. There were several reasons he got so little support and being gay was one of them.

Would you say Democratic voters aren't, or can't be, homophobic?

Of course but I agree with him on very little. There are plenty of conservative faggots I agree with on important things.

The Democratic base is going to be highly dubious of the electability of a gay man to the presidency.

On the other hand, there is only one major political party in the United States where people who openly identify as gay can and do successfully run for public office in state and municipal elections.

SCott Bessant is Treasury Secretary.

That's not an elected position. He's appointed.

He didn't have to run the gauntlet of a MAGA base in a Republican primary election.

I had to read that twice, but I see what you're doing there now.

Your claim is Buttigieg struggled in the more diverse South Carolina because the voters there, unlike in Iowa or New Hampshire, determined he couldn't win among other voters so they made the strategic choice not to vote for him as a result.

Therefore they themselves were in no way homophobic, rather they know many others are. Because again, Democratic voters can't be homophobic?

100%. Not only is he a wise man he's a good man. The bullying and swatting from the MAGA thugs will continue - because - like you said he's married to another dude :(

Yes. Because Sean Duffy's doing such great work! Air travel has never been worse than under Duffy.

Now you say "Pete was the worst". You didn't say why. Why was he "the worst"?

Lots of people are homophobic. Irrespective of party, skin color, or religion.

The fact remains undisputed by you that there is only one major political party in the United States where people who openly identify as gay can and do successfully run for public office in state and municipal elections.

1) your statement was false and 2) you didn't even Jarod's question; i mean do you think a bunch of Republicans agree with Buttigieg?

It's the South, or in other terms, the Bible Belt. Yes, a gay man would have trouble even among minority voters there. I'm Christian myself, but I don't understand the fascination with sexual orientation. As if it changes much, besides adding some empathy to policy. I have gay family and friends, and so far I don't see it as a debilitating quality.

In 2008 California voters passed Prop 8 banning gay marriage so it's not just the South.

I have no doubt that there are people in this country that will flat out say they will not vote for a gay person. I believe there are plenty of others who you aren't going to see marching at Pride parades and posting on social media how they are allies, but sexuality wouldn't be the deciding factor in how they vote.
