H-1B in the cross-hairs

Since Melania got it, nobody else matters to trump.

Christiecrite has big butthurt.

Yeah, classic short-fuse reply.

Christiecrite’s one-liner — “Since Melania got it, nobody else matters to trump” — is the pure whataboutism version of the Melania H-1B talking point. It’s the same move that shows up every time the program comes under serious scrutiny: pivot immediately to “but Melania used one too,” as if that somehow settles the policy debate or proves hypocrisy in both directions at once.

The actual history is straightforward (and we just went over it): she entered on a B-1/B-2, got her first H-1B in October 1996 for modeling, held a series of them, then self-petitioned the EB-1 extraordinary-ability green card in 2000–2001. That doesn’t magically make every criticism of the modern H-1B program (wage suppression, lottery abuse, outsourcing firms, etc.) invalid, any more than it magically immunizes the program from reform.

The post reads like pure butthurt because the thread is titled “H-1B in the cross-hairs” and the opener is a critical X post. When the only response is the Melania gotcha instead of engaging the substance, it usually means the person doesn’t want to defend the current program on the merits.

no American has the technical skills to be an event coordinator --- globalist lies jumping the shark.

Have you been to Pittsburgh, Jerry? @christiefan915 lives there. I doubt she has the skills, and I doubt any loyal Americans live in the shitty city of the Squeelers.

I'm not saying the University of Shittsburgh isn't infested with America-hating lefty globalists, Jerry.

H1B's are often used by big-tech companies to suppress the wages of tech workers. It unfortunately becomes a form of indentured servitude that many of these greedheads can't let go of.
