Nationwide Measles Surge

He gets a lot of money for doing that.
Yes he does.

The question is why do posters like @zymurgy lie for him and pretend RFK is not spreading misinformation about MMR and causing all sorts of doubt in people who then question taking it based on what he says.

What do they get in lying for him?

Good for Shapiro to call RFK and his dangerous double speak out. That is what everyone needs to do.

Hmmm.

I wonder.

Weren't millions (nobody knows how many, BTW) of unidentified and potentially unvaccinated people who may have carried previously eradicated diseases recently allowed to enter the US?

Clearly.

This thread is one of the biggest engagements of magat lies and spin that we have seen on this forum in a long time and when the facts and truth, as opposed to the misinformation zymurgy was trying to spin, are so easily accessible.

So what is the point other than 'duty to magats', for posting such clear bullshit?

Shapiro did exactly what other leaders need to do which is call Kennedy out for his stream of lies and misinformation and speaking out of both sides of his mouth constantly as nothing causes more doubt in people then a person found to be saying 'the vaccine is good... the vaccine will kill you...'.

the shit stains are out in full force

Democrats can't lead. they can only play political games

When vaccine confidence is already declining, repeatedly telling hesitant parents that political leaders are at war over measles vaccination can leave them believing there must be a serious dispute over whether the vaccine should be taken at all.

There is no dispute on the message that matters right now: vaccinate against measles. Stop manufacturing one you shit stain Democrats

Kennedy posts vaccine misinformation, spars on social media amid measles deaths

HHS secretary has downplayed the risk of measles, blamed others for declining vaccination rates

WASHINGTON — After Pennsylvania health authorities announced that two unvaccinated people had died from measles-associated causes, health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called the state’s Democratic governor, Josh Shapiro, to offer federal assistance. According to accounts from both men, the call turned heated.

“I was very, very blunt with him, and I made very clear his actions and his rhetoric coming from this administration are having a negative impact on communities across America, particularly right here in Pennsylvania,” Shapiro said at a press conference Tuesday. “That there’s real-life consequences to spreading misinformation.”

He was referring to comments Kennedy made before he joined the Trump administration that cast doubt on the safety and efficacy of vaccines, including the combined measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine, and to his continued mixed messaging on the importance of the MMR shot.

The man's a lawyer, not a doctor. He has zero credibility about infectious diseases and only appeals to conspiracy theorists like himself. He's a danger to society.

So?

He has zero credibility about infectious diseases and only appeals to conspiracy theorists like himself. He's a danger to society.

So you say.

Weren't millions (nobody knows how many, BTW) of unidentified and potentially unvaccinated people who may have carried previously eradicated diseases recently allowed to enter the US?

Says the guy just caught out and out lying and spinning misinformation to defend Kennedy who is the person causing the most doubt and vaccine hesitency.

You cannot make up the levels of bull shit zymurgy is try to lie and spin here on behalf of magats who are causing almost all the doubt and vaccine hesitency as he lies and tries to deflect that on to Dems.

Derp, derp, derp, shitstain...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made numerous conflicting, skeptical, and inaccurate statements about the MMR vaccine that directly contradict his public statements of support. While he has occasionally urged families to get the vaccine during outbreaks, his broader rhetoric and history frequently undermine that message. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Medical experts and fact-checkers point to several major contradictions and pieces of misinformation in his commentary:

1. Questioning Long-Term Efficacy
  • The Claim: Kennedy has repeatedly characterized the MMR vaccine as a "leaky" vaccine that offers only short-term protection, stating that its immunity "wanes very quickly" and that "we're always going to have measles, no matter what happens." [1, 2]
  • The Contradiction: This directly undercuts his own citations of its 97% effectiveness. Public health agencies like the U.S. CDC note that two doses of the MMR vaccine provide safe, lifelong protection against measles and rubella. [1, 2, 3]

2. Claims About Safety Testing and Ingredients
  • The Claim: Kennedy has asserted that the MMR combination vaccine "was never safety tested" and has claimed that the vaccine contains "aborted fetus debris." [1, 3]
  • The Contradiction: The American Academy of Pediatrics and vaccine experts have repeatedly debunked these statements, clarifying that the vaccine underwent rigorous clinical trials prior to approval and contains absolutely no fetal tissue. [1, 3]

3. Exaggerating Vaccine Risks While Downplaying Measles
  • The Claim: Kennedy has stated in interviews that he would not advise his own family members to take the MMR vaccine. He has also claimed that the vaccine itself causes deaths "every year" while suggesting measles can be treated simply with "chicken soup and vitamin A." [1, 2]
  • The Contradiction: Telling the public "we promote the MMR" while personally stating he would not give it to his own children creates a massive double standard. Furthermore, the Infectious Diseases Society of America notes there are no documented MMR-related deaths in healthy individuals, whereas measles is a highly contagious, potentially fatal disease. [1, 2]

4. Denying His Anti-Vaccine Influence
  • The Claim: Kennedy frequently defends his record by stating, "I have never been anti-vaccine" and "I have never told the public to avoid vaccination." [1, 2]
  • The Contradiction: In other public forums, he has explicitly stated, "There's no vaccine that is safe and effective." Additionally, public health officials have heavily scrutinized his 2019 trip to Samoa—where his organization, Children's Health Defense, fueled a wave of anti-vaccine sentiment right before a massive measles outbreak killed 83 people. [1, 2, 3]

------------

Shame on those who come to this forum to Stan for Kennedy and lie about what he is saying out of both sides of his mouth CONSTANTLY.

so shit stain trolls aside.

Can one decent Democrat <attempt to> justify why Shapiro chose to not present a unified message and help improve vaccination rates?

He could of invited Kennedy up - pissed off all the moron anti-vaxxers and shared this unified message that they actually do hold right now

^ this is not a serious question by a poster who is not a serious poster.

zymurgy entire goal here is push that Shapiro should have treated Kennedy like a serious and honest person in this, WHEN HE IS NOT.

Kennedy would use Shapiro and anyone else, in the first instance, to present and show how he was a 'serious person being taken seriously by important people', while in the next instance using that credibility gained to spin more two faced lies and deception to make people even more uncertain and to kill even more people.

All top politicians and serious people need to recognize the game Kennedy is constantly playing of saying one thing that might get agreement so he can then say 'see i am serious and credible, look at me working with Shapiro...', to then fuck over society by a factor of 10 by using that to spread his next round of lies and misinformation.
