Canadians are the highest tipping foreign tourists who go there (see my prior post) and also the most numerous.

So they are losing their most numerous and highest tipping customers.

This really hurts in places like Hollywood, Florida where Canadians bring so much to the Economy. A family member owns a beach house close to Tampa, she has had Canadians who rent two months each winter, for the first time in 20 years, they are not coming.

Q2 was 721,000, down 4.2%.


Total visitors to the state were 73.5 million in H1, down 1.4%.


What Jew?No! "forgot" to mention is the fact that 2025 full-year Canadian numbers were later revised upward to 3.17 million (down ~7% from 2024, not the initial 14.7% estimate).


H1 2026 is still well below the 2019 pre-COVID H1 figure of ~2.29 million.


Domestic (that means Americans, lefties) travelers to Florida account for more than 90% of the total visitors to the Sunshine State.


Overseas visitation held up better than Canadian. That means that visitors for the other 189 countries on the planet are still flocking to Florida, lefties.


The Canuckian drop only appears to matter in specific pockets (Broward “Little Quebec” motels and some Gulf Coast properties, but it is not crashing statewide tourism.


Broader pattern, not Florida-only​



Statistics data show a persistent Canadian pullback from U.S. travel that started in 2025 and continued into 2026: fewer trips, shorter stays, lower spending.


That hardly corresponds with the partisan political premise that Jew?No! is pushing.


A cheaper loonie raises the real cost of U.S. hotels, meals, and gas for Canadian visitors. That is one of several factors (along with airfares, inflation, and politics) that has reduced snowbird and leisure travel to Florida.


Border return crossings from the U.S. had an 11-month streak of year-over-year declines (deepest non-COVID stretch on record).


Canadians shifted toward domestic travel and overseas destinations for a variety of reasons, as have Americans.


Similar percentage drops hit Las Vegas and New York. Florida’s decline is only notable mainly because snowbirds stay longer and spend more than average visitors.


Timing lines up with U.S.–Canada tensions. Those may be a factor, and a few Canadians have said so explicitly, but there is no proof that they were being truthful, and the season in months away. It is entirely possible that the commenters were anti-Trump anyway.


It is not the only factor: inflation, airfares, the weak Canadian dollar, post-COVID habit changes, and destination substitution all appear in the reporting. The facts do not attribute a single cause in the latest release.

Started by Jew?No! with the NewsNation/Yahoo piece as its biased basis, replies so far are short and typical for the board, with predictably partisan results.


  • Sloganeering Trump blame (“everything he touches turns to shit,” liquor pulled from Canadian shelves, MAGA won’t hold him accountable).
  • An irrelevant “approval rating in the sewer” closer. Canadians are not US voters (at least not legally) and President Trump is not running for office.

No one in the visible posts grapples with the 2025 season's data revision, the small share of total visitors coming from Canada anyway, the fact that overall tourism is only modestly off a record year, or Statistics Canada’s own broader outbound-shift numbers.


Statewide, Florida tourism remains enormous (143+ million in 2025).


The Canadian slice is only a worry for a few businesses and regions that depend on winter snowbirds fleeing their Great White North's savage winters (or maybe the brown hordes that now call call themselves Canadian), but the winter season ahead hasn't even begun yet.


The 14% figure is not manufactured, but treating it as proof that “Trump wrecked Florida tourism” overstates both the scale and the exclusivity of the cause.

I have a close friend that lives in Toronto , that own a big house in LARGO , near Clearwater that has put it up for sale at a bargain price of 2.5 Million , from what I have seen houses go for in that area it is a good deal.
She says she is just fed up with all Trumps Bull Shit, and will not be coming back to the US any more, and I can't blame her.

NO bull, I said I have a friend from Toronto that has a big place in LARGO , ( I think it is largo ) on the inter coastal, Near rt 595, it has 5 bedrooms 2 living rooms big kitchen 3 car garage , big pool on an acre and a half , she is selling for something like 2.5 Mill. .
I understand it is worth about a mill or more more then what she is asking but she is just done with all Trumps BS and doesn't want to go back, guess she is looking into the Bahamas , for a winter place.
