It is a tax. The definition of tariff is a tax imposed on goods imported from another country.

That if gov't takes money from the workers and then hands it to the heads of the corporation who then book record profits that the workers will always benefit too and it won't just go in to stock buy backs, bonuses for the C-Suite and not to the average worker.

You like that Trump took the tariff money from regular tax payers and now is giving it to Corporations to use to book record profits as you said you believe that benefits the workers.

Trickle down has never worked.
