New rodent on head, no joke no AI

The receptionist is cheap because he took his esposa to a yacht club and had her cook his meals.
It does not sound like you know any wealthy people. Wealthy people usually do not show off by spending excessively on eggs.

That’s something I would expect of you, too, WWW, cheap and common.
I do not spend a hundred dollars per egg to have them flown in from France... If that is common, they are just eggs, so who cares?

What I find common is spending money like a lottery winner. There is no style or understanding. It is spending money for the sake of spending money.

Wrong, Wrong Way Wally.

I explained this in my last post.

You do not take your esposa to a yacht club and have her cook your meals.

Who won a lottery, you?

If so, get a lawyer, your financial acumen is severely lacking.

My next door neighbor is a black lawyer with a three level home in a gated, guarded golf subdivision. He probably earns more in one month than you do in one year, WWW.

And I explained why your explanation is just plain stupid. No reasonable person spends more on eggs just to impress people. Wealthy people mostly buy eggs from where ever is most convenient. There is no Publix around here, so I would not buy eggs from there. I buy my eggs at Giant. My wife bought eggs at Whole Foods, which is out of the way, and more expensive, but she did not do it to impress people.

Why not? Hiring a special servant to cook eggs seems like more trouble than it is worth. Cooking eggs is rather easy.

My wife once interviewed a photographer of album covers. He told the story of his meeting with Barbara Streisand. Streisand said she was hungry, and made both of them hot dogs... There was not a special hot dog butler.

Who won a lottery, you?
Among people with money, someone who won the lottery is considered an example of someone who has the money, but not the style. They drink Dom Perignon with no idea what to pair it with. They buy a Rolex, and then return it because it loses 10 seconds per day.

And I guess they buy $100 eggs flown in special from France to impress people. And have a special egg butler to cook those eggs.

Wow, that must be painful for him. Everyone is trying to move as much of their income from earned to long term capital gains... Or better yet, income less than expenses. Have you seen the level of taxes on earned income?

I am really regretting not structuring more of my income away from earned, and your friend is more than 12 times worse than me.... OUCH!!! You say he is a lawyer?

Yes, he is a lawyer and I am certain that he knows how to handle his finances far better than you, Wrong Way Walter. My daughter who lives about a block away says his home is valued at 2.6 million.

Generational wealth is the goal, WWW.

I’ve read your financial advice and am not impressed. Uber Eats drivers are not known for their generational wealth…or their financial acumen.

You are bizarrely fixated on whether Jarod was able to get a good deal on some eggs. Is it because you are stuck eating powdered "eggs"?
You having trouble find eggs you can afford too?

They're cheap, Wally, and you can't afford them.
Get a job, if you can.

It does not sound like you know any wealthy people. Wealthy people usually do not show off by spending excessively on eggs.
And I don't. My chickens provide plenty.
I do not spend a hundred dollars per egg to have them flown in from France... If that is common, they are just eggs, so who cares?
Apparently you do.
What I find common is spending money like a lottery winner. There is no style or understanding. It is spending money for the sake of spending money.
Which is why you are broke, Wally.

My daughter who lives about a block away says his home is valued at 2.6 million.
That is about average for an upper middle class house around here. I am looking around on Zillow, and my house in a very working class neighborhood(I am a cheapskate) is $594k. The house I grew up in is $1.077M(and my parents had serious financial problems). Tomorrow I am going to a barbecue at a house worth $5.33M(not gated and he could easily afford much better). $2.6 million for a gated community house would be cheap in the Northeast. You (or your daughter) must live in a cheap part of the country.

And why are you asking her to estimate the value of the house? Normal people use Zillow. If you know his address, you can easily find out how much his house is worth, and how much he paid for it. Everyone I know would use Zillow.

Generational wealth is the goal, WWW.
Everyone I know who has generational wealth is absolutely haunted by the expression "shirt sleeves to shirt sleeves in three generations." The goal is to teach them to handle the generational wealth. The two fears is that they will blow the money, or that we will over manage the money having a dead hand guide the money. It is about education.

There are people with generational wealth that do not own houses, or own houses for $2.6M. But a $2.6M house is not a hallmark of generational wealth. Someone who is talking about that as a big deal does not have generational wealth.

To quote Chris Rock, $2.6M "is some shit you can lose with a crazy summer and a drug habit."

Is he your neighbor, or your daughter's neighbor?
Have someone help you read, WWW..." My daughter who lives about a block away says his home is valued at 2.6 million."

He is my next door neighbor and his son went to the same private school as mine and he is now a doctor.

I don't really care what his home is valued at but my daughter wants to upgrade from her 6K sq, foot home to an 8K sq. foot home valued at 3 .1 mil and she wants to know the value of the homes in the neighborhood to put an asking price on her home.

Do you understand now, WWW?

This all appears to be above your grade level and out of your lane, Wrong Way Wally.

That should give you plenty of eggs. I once thought about getting chickens, but then I realized they are a lot of trouble.
They're really not a lot of trouble, Wally.
I do not think I will go broke, but honestly the fear haunts me. That is why I am so defensive with a chunk of my money.
You are already broke, Wally. That's why you can't afford even eggs.

His transformation is almost complete...

Would any of you trust the man in that picture to do home repairs?
