Alabama's obesity crisis; discuss

I know a thing or ten about Alabama. LOL I have some property down there. Maybe 15-20 minutes from the Florida border. I'll just say this..............When talking about the speed in which people work down there,...........You can use a FRIKKIN SUN DIAL! Very frustrating,....to say the least. If someone tells you it will take a week to get something done,......figure a MONTH. No lie. Its either too hot, too cold, too wet,..too dry,.....too everything. In the end what the real truth is its TOO MUCH LIKE WORK! :)

Anecdotal.

Im going down there next month some time and Im considering bringing a horse whip with me.

Smart ones.....

Not many of those, are there?

Black voters in Alabama have voted overwhelmingly Democrat for decades. The exact share varies a bit by year and office, but it has consistently been in the high 80s to high 90s.

Recent presidential numbers

  • 2020: 89% for Biden, 11% for President Trump (Edison/NYT exit poll). Black voters were 22% of the Alabama electorate.
  • 2024: Alabama GOP internal data put Trump support among black voters at just over 18% (up from ~10% in 2020 and 14% in 2022). That implies roughly 82% for Harris. This is the only Alabama-specific 2024 figure that has been publicly cited.

National 2024 estimates for black voters overall were similar or slightly higher for Harris (Pew ~83%, Catalist ~85%, Black Voter Project 86%). Alabama black voters have historically run a few points more Democrat than the national average.

Longer-term averages (court expert analyses using exit polls and Cooperative Election Study data)

  • Presidential: 94% Democrat (exit polls, 2008–2022) or 98% (CES).
  • Specific years: 98% (2008), 95% (2012), 89% (2020 exit poll).
  • Governor, Senate, and House races in Alabama typically fall in the 90–95% Democrat range for black voters. Average across offices 2008–2022 was about 93–94%.

Black women in Alabama vote even more Democrat than black men (e.g., 93% vs. 82% for Biden in 2020).

The pattern is stable and well-documented. There has been a modest national and state-level increase in black Republican support in 2024, but Democrats still receive the large majority of the Black vote in Alabama.

So you say.

Your presence ITT appears to contradict that claim.

I have no logical reason to do so.

Now, post a gif. Hop to it!
You understand that you make anecdotal posts ALL THE TIME right? You crazy bastard you.

Dismissed.
Do you willingly CHOOSE to live in fantasy land because it is better in your'e mind then living in the reality of the situation? I guess I dont blame you,...poor bastard. No wonder you love AI so much,....makes perfect sense.
