A Defense of a Liberal Arts Education

Zero private colleges that require 4.1+ GPA for consideration called you, but several called me.
Just so you know, I was in Advanced classes, which adds a little boost to that.
That where I scored. :dunno:
Chose not to make a life out of Academia because it seemed too easy, like I would be copping out and never experiencing the real world, which I went and did.
You clearly are not very intelligent. You would not have gone far in academia. Your gpa is only relative to your high school.

That was in college. My GPA in HS sucked. I got serious at college.
The initial testing put me into Advanced classes where you get extra points. Now eat a dick.

That's really funny that you composed posts calling me "pretentious" 🤣

And I recall your conversation with Walt where you stated something to the effect of 'it's too bad West Virginia and Mississippi don't know that having world class universities is good for economic growth...'

So if the #7 school in the country is only respectable (or even just excellent)!
Duke is not in West Virginia or Mississippi. Do you need a map of the United States?

I have no problem calling Duke University elite based on the USN ranking. Are you going to continue to pretend I haven't word-smithed myself to your liking?

Now, your job at this point is to post proof that I wrote anywhere that there are zero-nada-zilch elite or top 20 universities in the South. Because I never wrote that. You're just having debates with the voices in your head again.

USN&WR-ranked Southern schools that my friends, wife, colleagues attended:

#51 Texas A&M - respectable

#30 UT Austin - superior

#110 Univ. Of Oklahoma - fair

#26 Univ. of Virginia - superior

#7 Duke University - elite

#169 Louisiana State (Baton Rouge) - subpar

#257 Univ. of Texas, El Paso - weak

#88 Univ. of South Florida - fair

Okay. Usually a class is specific beyond being called "Humanities."
Humanities can include anything from history, to English, to literature, to religious studies, to philosophy, to art and music. I've never been to an college that had a "Humanities 101" class in the class catalog.

Nor have I. Not saying Matt was lying, but he was rather vague.

You said you took a class called "Humanities." Not what that link is about.
Look you, I have the actual textbook from that class. When I get an SD card formatted properly to be a mini storage device compatible with my digital camera, will post a pic. Until then, you could never do that, and eat a bag of donkey dicks. Bitch!
Humanities is required for an Undergraduate or "Liberal Arts" degree. I don't even like that, but that's how it is.
Most bullshit class I ever saw in my life, tbh. The Art history was OK.

So, you probably took the most basic class,

HUM 1020 - Introduction to Humanities

Oh, so now you realize it's a college class one has to have for a Liberal Arts degree?
You can't get one without it, and trust me, I've seen some utter dumbasses that got a degree.

You are very poor at explaining yourself. Why assume I knew everything about your college? Never heard of the University of South Florida.
Is College not pretty much universal nationwide?
I know for a fact certain things are, and have been for centuries.
I also know Florida schools like I went to rank pretty freaking high.

That's like offering an "Introduction to the Sciences" class.
Those kind of weak freshman-level basic survey courses never held my interest. I would rather take a full blown art history or English literature class and get some real granular detail.

No real college would have such a vague course.

How many college credit hours have you earned?
Wow, look at this dumbass putting down an accredited and excellent university. :rofl2:
I guarantee it's better than any school you went to.
Fess it up, let's do ranking comparisons, k?
