I use reason and have witnessed evidence that lots of people see reality. Have you considered hanging out with smarter, better educated people?
The Soviets suppressed religion in favor of what they called scientific atheism. Scientific atheism was supposed to be the final answer and ultimate arbiter of life, the universe, and everything.
But I don't think Lenin, Stalin, and Khrushchev really knew anything about science, and did not understand that science describes, it does not explain.

"Evidence" that would be insufficient to convince you of anything that wasn't the Christian god. Evidence that wouldn't convince you of the existence of any other gods. Since you want to believe in the Christian god, the evidence becomes sufficient.

In the military it’s commonly known that members who assume facts often “make an ass-of-you and me”. It’s bad for the unit if members don’t know what the fuck they are doing, saying or believing.
