New poll shows El-Sayed hold narrow edge in Michigan Senate races

In Michigan, the poll found that progressive firebrand Abdul El-Sayed is faring slightly better against Republican Mike Rogers, a former congressman, with El-Sayed winning 48 percent of respondents’ support compared to Rogers’ 46 percent. Rogers, the poll found, wins out with non-college educated voters and older Michiganders, while El-Sayed is ahead with independents.

Yea, that's a reason to vote for someone, he has a 'video on the M TV...' to take a quote from Dire Straits.

The ads will definitely work for some, whether you like it or not. Or would you prefer to vote for Mike Rogers, whose ads are dark, forbidding, feature the word "DANGEROUS," and call his opponent a "commie"? That seems to appeal to you MAGATs far more than a positive ad stating what the candidate supports.

That's the way to do it. Show the voters that just because he doesn't have a Joe Sixpack name, his life experiences are the same as the voters'.

Right on. Benson, who's the current MI SoS, is running for governor. Her ads are similar -- positive, show regular people (moms, veterans, workers, etc.) as the voiceover says that she is a mom, veteran, worker as well as a politician.

I expect though as we get into October, all the ads are going to turn ugly. :(

MAGATs is not a word, DumbOwl.
If the guy is a commie, he is a commie.

Democrats support Communism and taking America as it has been known down. Fuck That Shit.
That's not an American political party, it's an anti-American political party now.

So they spent a 150 years endorsing Republicans, but are Democrats(according to you)... And you say it is because they think Democrats are worse? There is no internal logic to your claim.
Stop making shit up, Wally.
Argument from randU fallacy.
