Hitler was on the Right side of the spectrum. . .

Spewing anti-Marxism as if this were 1916. Marxism and communism are dead, friend. Your weapons are gone. Even in China capitalism is alive and well.

I understand your panic, Marty. You thought the time had finally come for you democrats to reveal yourselves as what you have long been, full on Marxist - Leninists. But it's been a fucking disaster. America not only did NOT embrace you as you expected, but in fact your open embrace of Communism cost your the ability to seize power in the Senate.

The Americans will continue to control that body, thwarting actions in the house.

Might have helped this thread had Hitler embraced an economic philosophy but he didn’t. He wasn’t a socialist. He considered communism a disease. He was pragmatic according to what would work to build a German military colossus, in his view. It’s simple as that, pretty much. He’s on the Right for being an authoritarian.

Mussolini used to say fascism is not a theory. It is. But he had a point. It is about absolute power.

ignorant spewing by an ignorant person who speaks on topics he knows nothing about...

The poster's claim is historically inaccurate and has little connection to actual reality.

Mainstream historians, political scientists, and economic experts widely classify Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany as far-right. While the Nazi party used the word "Socialist" in its name to appeal to the working class during the Great Depression, Hitler's actual, enacted policies violently rejected both left-wing economic theory and left-wing social values. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Here is a fact-check breakdown of his actual enacted policies:

1. Economic Policies: State-Driven Corporatism, Not Left-Wing Socialism
The defining feature of left-wing economics (socialism or communism) is the abolition of private property and the public or worker ownership of the means of production. Hitler did the exact opposite: [1, 2, 3]
  • Mass Privatization: During the 1930s, while Western democracies were expanding state involvement to fight the Great Depression, Nazi Germany underwent a massive wave of privatization. The state sold off public railways, banks, and steel mills to private corporations. [1, 2]
  • Alliance with Big Business: The Nazi regime left the means of production in private hands. Major capitalist enterprises (such as Krupp, IG Farben, Siemens, and Volkswagen) thrived, generated massive profits, and cooperated closely with the state. [1, 2, 3]
  • Crushing Labor Rights: One of Hitler’s first actions upon taking power in 1933 was to ban independent trade unions. He arrested labor leaders, banned strikes, and replaced unions with a state-run front (German Labour Front) that frozen worker wages and favored big industrialists. [1, 2]
While the state heavily regulated the economy to prepare for war (directing what factories should produce), historians define this as a state-directed, capitalist war economy or corporatism, rather than left-wing socialism. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

2. Social Policies: Extreme Ultranationalism and Inequality
Left-wing social ideology historically centers on egalitarianism (social equality), international worker solidarity, and the dismantling of traditional hierarchies. Hitler’s social policies were completely antithetical to these values: [1]
  • Racial Hierarchy over Class Solidarity: The ultimate goal of Nazi social policy was the Volksgemeinschaft (racial community). It completely rejected the left-wing concept of class struggle, replacing it with strict racial hierarchy and Social Darwinism. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • Hyper-Reactionary Social Norms: Nazi social policies were heavily conservative and exclusionary. Women were heavily pressured out of the workforce to focus purely on domestic childbearing, LGBTQ+ individuals were brutally persecuted, and marginalized groups were systematically stripped of citizenship and murdered. [1, 2, 3]

3. Violent Destruction of the Political Left
If Hitler's policies were on the political left, the European left would have championed him. Instead, leftists were his primary political enemies. [1, 2, 3]

Upon taking power, Hitler banned the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Communist Party (KPD). The very first prisoners sent to Dachau, Germany's first concentration camp, were left-wing politicians, socialists, and union organizers. Furthermore, Hitler’s entire foreign policy and ideological framework (Mein Kampf) was centered on the destruction of "Judeo-Bolshevism" (Communism), which he viewed as an existential threat to humanity. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Bullshit.

Italy is the birthplace of the modern market, Venice the heart of the Renaissance. Also the rise of the Guilds. The Marxists in academia like to lie and claim that Fascism is "corporatist" - whatever the fuck that means. But in reality Mussolini followed the guild structure.

Surprisingly, Wikipedia does a good job of explaining how these guilds under Il Deuce were nothing like a modern corporation.

{
A fascist corporation is a government body that brings together federations of workers and employers syndicates belonging to the same profession and branch, to regulate production in a holistic manner. Each trade union would theoretically represent its professional concerns, especially by negotiation of labour contracts and the like. It was theorized that this method could result in harmony amongst social classes.[35]
In Italy from 1922 until 1943, corporatism became influential amongst Italian nationalists led by Benito Mussolini. The Charter of Carnaro gained much popularity as the prototype of a "corporative state", having displayed much within its tenets as a guild system combining the concepts of autonomy and authority in a special synthesis.[36] Alfredo Rocco spoke of a corporative state and declared corporatist ideology in detail. Rocco would later become a member of the Italian fascist regime.[37]
Italian Fascism involved a corporatist political system in which the economy was collectively managed by employers, workers and state officials by formal mechanisms at the national level.[38] Its supporters claimed that corporatism could better recognize or "incorporate" every divergent interest into the state organically, unlike majority-rules democracy which they said could marginalize specific interests. This total consideration was the inspiration for their use of the term "totalitarian", described without coercion (which is connoted in the modern meaning) in the 1932 Doctrine of Fascism as thus:

When brought within the orbit of the State, Fascism recognizes the real needs which gave rise to socialism and trade unionism, giving them due weight in the guild or corporative system in which divergent interests are coordinated and harmonized in the unity of the State.[39]
[The state] is not simply a mechanism which limits the sphere of the supposed liberties of the individual... Neither has the Fascist conception of authority anything in common with that of a police ridden State... Far from crushing the individual, the Fascist State multiplies his energies, just as in a regiment a soldier is not diminished but multiplied by the number of his fellow soldiers.[39]}

Ultimately the central doctrine of Fascism is supremacy of the state. This is also the central doctrine of the democrat party - that the state is supreme and individuals are irrelevant.

They can’t take it when you respond like this, I don’t think they understand. They are stupid.
