I read it. It was not a definition of "republic."
And framers really meant it to refer to the federal government having power over the states.

You keep missing the point. China is also a constitutional republic. A purpose in language, Earl, is to use words that distinguish things from other things.

I've had this "democratic republic" argument with other Trumpers. The word "democratic" seems to give them an uneasy feeling. Probably not a word their ass of a leader likes much either.

How is banning certain media outlets from the Brady Room "taking control of them"? They are still owned and operated by the same people whether they are allowed into the Brady Room or not.
