Sure he is. The point is @Jarod is TERRIFIED of the midterms. The great Communist takeover that the party promises isn't going to happen. In fact the Communists are going to LOSE seats in the Senate. Meaning that the house takeover is little more than a clown show. They won't be able to do much. They can run a two year impeachment, but it will go nowhere. They can vote funds for Iran, but Trump will veto. They can't pack the courts to create one party rule. None of the goals of the democrats will be realized.

Indeed, it was quite the tornado. EF3, and over a mile wide! Surprisingly, no fatalities were reported.
But yes, I do love the cheap gasoline here. Thankfully, Republicans have kept gas taxes fairly low. Democrats keep jacking up the wheel taxes, though.

I hope that Tom Tiffany wins the governor race this November; it would be nice to finally get a Republican governor again. I was surprised to actually see not just one but two households in Madison with his yard sign openly displayed. I didn't think that sort of thing was allowed in Madison (and I'm surprised the yard signs are still standing!). The Democrats cheated-in their "poor-man's Obama" nominee instead of the openly socialist woman that the crazed Madisonians actually wanted. People's yards were littered with her signs, and maybe one or two for his, yet he somehow "just barely" "won" his primary election "overnight", eerily similar to what typically happens around here on "(s)election day(s)".

The house takeover, if it happens is big for one reason, subpoena power. They are already retaining a number of lawyers for this fight.
