Yes, Trump hates allies like Canada, France, Germany, etc as he sees them as the ones most likely to call out his criminality and dismantling of America's power as a bad thing. it is similar to why he said he had to go after the media as fake news when he decided to run for politics as he recognized the media would be attacking him for all his affairs, bankruptcies, rapes, etc and so he needed to discredit them first.

He loves China, Russia, N.Korea, Hungary (under Orban), etc as they learned how to control the media and to make it so citizen votes did not matter and he knows they would never attack him for looting America or his personal disasters in his past.

They are his 'safe space'
