California lands six universities in the global top 25

Look your claim that housing is more expensive in CA because people want to live there is either a lie or just downright fucking stupid.
It is downright fucking stupid. He does not explain WHY houses cost so much more there. It's due to lack of housing caused by oppressive regulations and taxes.

This is a massive lie. They did not all just decamp and abandon N.O. in the 1980s.
Well that tells me you never even lived there. I knew multiple people, patients, friends, relatives, and former classmates that were engineers, geologists, landmen and support staff. They all got a job in another industry, moved to Houston or went back to school.
Oh, I suppose they kept and hired “PhDs” in oceanography . Yeah, sure.
Every one of those companies, every single one, relocated to Houston.
Some of the major multinationals, maintained offices in New Orleans into the 1990s when I was there; Shell USA, Exxon, Chevron, Mobil.
You forgot, or more accurately, never knew that Getty Oil and Amaco also, along with those you mentioned bugged out almost overnight too and relocated to Houston.
That's not even to mention the independent small and medium oil production and exploration companies.
Still there. Little family “businesses” collecting royalties from land they own.
Out of desperation, you obviously stooped to lying to "prove" I am supposedly a notorious liar. 🤣
The more I interact with you the more I realize that you’re a complete and total fraud.
And I thought you were just a pompous, pretentious little prick.

I believe Cy claims to have been a "geophysicist". It would be unlikely that they would hire him as an "oceanographer" to sit a well and log the stuff that came up.
I think he said he got accepted to some world renowned university as a PhD student in oceanography. Whatever. The oil industry in NO was dead in the 90s. Flatlined.
I doubt he was an actual geophysicist (he simply doesn't seem to have the skills)
I have no doubt whatsoever he’s nothing close to what he claims to be.
A total fraud.

I noted you are not forthcoming about YOUR science bona fides. (Don't worry. I understand. ;) )

Average annual income is higher in California than in Alaska, Texas, and Florida, and venture capital investment in California is larger than all the other 49 states combined.
And it takes pretty much every penny of it just to pay your rent and taxes.

Why is my education -- or anyone else's -- any of your business? But since you asked, here you go. Feel free to now scream that I am lying.

I have college credits in A&P I & II, microbiology, chemistry, biology, and botany. That last was an elective 400 level I took because it interested me. I also have completed college credits in "soft" disciplines -- sociology, general psych, abnormal psych, child psych, human growth & development, and gerentology.

Happy now, Skeezer? lol

 Pretends to be an expert in an industry he never worked in.

I just showed you news reports that Shell, Exxon, Chevron, Mobil maintained offices in New Orleans in the 1990s when I was there.
You are extremely stupid. The fact that the oil industry was downsizing in NO is not proof they had completely decamped from the city in the 1990s.

Do you make it a habit of lying to "prove" someone lied? 🤣

Exxon didn't leave New Orleans until 2003, years after I was gone.

April 2003 - "Exxon Mobil moving offshore office out of New Orleans"

Continuing a trend that has plagued Louisiana's economy for more than a decade, Exxon Mobil Corp. said Thursday it would move its offshore production office and about 300 workers out of New Orleans.

Most will be transferred to Houston or to other divisions of the company, which is based in Irving, Texas.

Perry likes to interrogate certain posters about their personal life, rather than contribute meaningfully to the topic of the thread :palm:

Oh so you've taken some classes. Good for you.

That last was an elective 400 level

Ooooh, 400 level!

I'm impressed. You took some classes. Next thing you know you'll tell me about the YouTube vids you watched.

(Don't ever mock someone's degree when you have none yourself.)
