California lands six universities in the global top 25

You seldom ever see people with real accomplishments and a full and satisfying life do that sort of thing. You can draw your own conclusions about these old biddies from that truthiness.
Since they were so obsessed about my career, I asked both of them if they ever worked to produce something real and tangible that was useful to America, and was only met with silence.

They must either be paper pushers, glorified technicians, or professional students.

Ok, let’s go back to the op.
What was the point? .
This isn't third grade where I have to spoon feed you on how to respond to a topic.

It's an invitation to discuss higher education.

One thing that stands out for me is that some states really value a world class system of higher education. California, Massachusetts, New York come to mind.

When they're around the room reeks of bitter disappointment.

Are you saying some states don’t?

Judging from the academic ranking of universities, some states have not tried to elevate their system of higher education into world class institutions.

National Rank

Univ. of Alabama #168
LSU #169 🤣
Univ. of Mississippi #179
Univ. of West Virginia #227 🤣
Univ. of Virginia #26
Univ. of Michigan #25
UCLA #20
Cal Berkeley #15
Univ. of Illinois #34

Yet you have consistently argued here that fossil fuels have contributed to global warming. So you worked to produce something real that in your mind has contributed to something you’re against.
I have to conclude that not only did you prostitute yourself to Exxon making them millions but did it, in your mind, to the detriment of society.
I actually helped improve people’s lives.

If you were a resident of Louisiana from a lower middle class family who couldn’t afford to attend a private or out of state university , where would you have gone to get the degree you got at UC Davis?

Crypiss made millions for Exxon (according to him, lol) while earning peanuts to the detriment of the planet.
You can draw your own conclusions

 grasping at straws.

My drilling prospects were natural gas, which is a cleaner natural transition away from coal and oil. U.S. power plant GHG emissions have trended massively downward because of the transition from coal to natural gas.

I've never said there should not be a transition period from petroleum to clean energy. Petroleum is the basis of the economy, and it would be an economic catastrophe to immediately ban all uses of petroleum in transportation, petrochemicals, plastics, heating, aviation, power plants, energy generation.

We are probably always going to need petroleum for plastics, petrochemicals, aviation, and shipping.

Still a fossil fuel, prostitute.
If you were half as smart and altruistic as you purport to be you would have used your vaunted higher education to accomplish something more meaningful for society than “making millions” for Exxon while working for peanuts.
Instead you did the same thing that a graduate with a B.S. from Louisiana Tech could
do.

HaHaHa! So desperate to find a chink in the armour.

You're free to propose an immediate ban on all uses of petroleum, and then to take the blame as the economy and civilization collapse.

Natural gas has done more than anything else to reduce GHG emissions at US power plants, by enabling the transition from coal.

Your idea of an immediate national ban on all uses of petroleum is grossly misinformed and colossally stupid.
