Moral relativism

Here's why the moral relativists @Into the Night and @IBDaMann won't answer a very simple question and explain WHY they believe something like female genital mutilation is immoral. It's because as soon as they describe what it is specifically that makes it immoral, then I will say "and you agree, regardless of religion, ethnicity, culture, etc, those specifics are the same for EVERY female having her clitoris cut off, right?"

At the point that you acknowledge the impact on the victim exists independently of religion, culture, ethnicity, etc, there's no more basis for subjective morality. The act becomes objectively immoral and their positions swirl down the drain.

A moral is not an event or action.

... because you won't answer any of my questions.

At the point that you acknowledge the impact on the victim
... will be the point you are engaging in a conversation, and not a one-way sermon, and you start extending the courtesy of answering my questions and the questions of others. Up to this point, I have answered every single one of your questions (that wasn't an inherent contradiction).

Both of us have answered his question. He just can't deal with it for some reason.

Well, I will take your advice on this. I will answer no more questions from him until he answers your questions.
