Do the humanities need a rebrand?

Men with graduate degrees earn $1.5 million more in median lifetime earnings than high school graduates. Women with graduate degrees earn $1.1 million more.

Skilled blue collar labor can earn really good money.

The problem is, you can generally only do it if you are healthy and relatively young.

A plumber who gets a chronic back injury at age 40 is going to have his career seriously curtailed.
And I don't see a lot of 60 year old HVAC guys.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You STILL think there is such a thing as a 'German degree'!

Arizona State University

German degree description

"In the Bachelor of Arts program in German, you study the language, literature and culture of German-speaking people and gain competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking."

My cousin got a degree in Russian, and I checked her university's degree requirement which not only include advanced training in Russian language and grammar, but also significant coursework in Russian and Soviet literature, culture, cinema, poetry, politics, and history.

Only a dental hygienist would imagine he has the equivalent of a German degree because he can make inconsequential small talk with the bartender in a Berlin hofbräu.
My buddy from high school got a degree in French and had a successful career in international commerce and as president of the visitor and convention bureau of a major city in Florida.

I literally know zero people who received humanities degrees and then got stuck in careers at Starbucks or Wal-Mart.

but you agree. college degree are mostly trash now.

that's why you're moronically clinging to HVAC dreams for the future of the country.

instead of pretending everyone is going to be an AC guy, you should reject globalism and zio-treason.

:truestory:

cherry picked butt facts.

You must have really low standards for yourself if you think drilling for oil or working at the convention bureau are "elitist" 🤣
if you don't know people with useless degrees, you're a detached elitist.

all your friends are dead and you live in a hole.
