The newest slur.

Am I understanding you correctly that you feel you need to use the word so we don't forget what it means, and therefore others won't use it?
I was unclear, so we don’t keep repeating the mistakes of the past, in the way Hegseth is trying to do with the word Tranny.

I would still hold my opinion regardless of how it worked out for me.
I mean if you want to use the n*word around a black person to hold true to your principles, more power to you (just make sure you have your financials in order for awhile)

You are being silly.
Historical Realism: Twain wrote the novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1884, setting it in the pre-Civil War 1840s along the Mississippi River. He used the language to reflect the authentic speech, racist attitudes, and social norms of white society in the antebellum American South.

I know.

So because it's a discussion board we should feel free to write out the n*word?
no, you are free to write it out anywhere.

In my opinion you should feel free to write it out when discussing it in historical context and comparing it to how some are doing the same thing with new words.

It’s a great book.

Most Trumppers wouldn’t use the word “nigger” any more, at least not in mixed company. Not in public.

The new word against a minority is “Tranny”. In 10 years they will claim they would never have used the word, but they will use it today.

They are the same people who shouted “nigger” 15 years ago.
^Dude, this is probably the dumbest OP you've ever started.
"New Word" I've been using since the 1980s. Holy fucko you're a retard!

Britian and France were trying to break the US into 2 separate countries so we'd be easier for them to control. No different than the divide and conquer strategy being used on republicans and democrats.

No idea what you are talking about.

Why? It simply means 'black'. The word stems from Latin 'niger', meaning the same thing.

The new word against a minority is “Tranny”.
A transmission is not a person, Pretender.

I still use 'tranny'.

Democrats again. They typically used the word as a derogatory term against slaves captured from Africa and their descendants.

Republicans use the word 'tranny' as a derogatory term to mean someone that doesn't know what gender they are, and probably mutilated themselves over it, causing permanent disfigurement. I have seen the term to refer generally to the clueless as well (effectively associating people that don't know their own gender with a more generic 'clueless').

There are plenty of other slurs as well, many of which you have used.

I'm not going to say certain words like the n-word. It's a hate-driven, depraved word that dehumanizes. It has no meaning outside of that. I don't even like that blacks tried to adopt it and give it new meaning. It's a word that needs to die. Remembered only as a historical footnote.
It's interesting because you'll hear debates within the black community over whether the word should be used or not.

On Friday I invited a buddy to a party my wife and I went to. He's black and when he got to our place the first thing he said was "what's up n*word".

Needless to say, I did not reciprocate in kind. Haha. But it was just a natural greeting.

Ok? So?

I'm not going to stop you from saying it. But when the argument turns to I should be able to write out the word that I accuse others of using, it just hits differently.
