I listened to Trump's speech at his rally in Syracuse. I am now convinced more than ever that the Democrats are going to get hammered in the midterms. Not from Trump's speech but by official leftist echo-chamber commentary afterwards, and from the rhetoric from Democrat midterm candidates that tell the entire story.

* Democrats have been relegated to micharacterizing, or outright lying about, everything about Trump, because Trump has an unending list of achievements in making America great again (that Democrats find unassailable) while Democrats have absolutely no positive contributions or achievements whatsoever, and can't talk about the riots, looting, assassinations, lawfare, rampant illegal immigration, government shutdowns, government waste and fiscal irresponsibility, DEI programs, CRI infection and economic chaos for which they are responsible.

* Democrats are tone deaf and cannot "read the room." They have not learned their lesson throughout Trump's three election victories othere than that the DNC needs to get better at cheating. Democrat platforms now only consist of "I'm against Trump" and "I support DEI, illegal immigration and men in women's sports." Anybody in the DNC that dares to speak up and say "Nobody in America wants this" gets shown the door.

* Democrats are increasingly appealing to increasingly limited groups of increasingly radical fringe leftist radical militants. Hence, the Democrat Party has been hemorrhaging constituents to the Republican Party for years, and now Democrats have millions fewer of illegal immigrants upon which their cheating depends. Traditional Democrat voting blocs, e.g. Hispanics, blacks, etc., are now close to being Republican voting blocs.

* Democrat candidates have voluntarily established platforms that are "undo everything Trump has done" and frankly, We the People don't want any of it undone. Democrat candidates have blindly assumed losing platforms.


I don't see any hope for the Democrat Party.

As someone who helped get people elected for a living, before I figured out how corrupt it all was and figure if I desired to make a living in the public sector I would be far better of arresting criminals rather than getting them elected, I thing what the Dems do in brand marketing concepts for political purposes is dumb.

For instance, if I were running the DNC I would have used its bylaws to kick the DSA out of the Democratic Party.

However, the MAGA mindset is so out of touch and tone deaf in its support of a President whose popularity is at 30% that I think nothing the Dems are going to do to snatch failure for the jaws of victory is going to keep the Pubs holding the House, and there is s 50:50 chance they might lose the Senate as well.

That isn't easy to do with all the rigging the Pubs did to make sure they kept both. The law changes, the gerrymandering, etc. But they are going to accomplish it. They are going to lose what they should have held. All because they insist upon backing a sinking President.

It involves the only thing we have access to at the moment with a Presidential protected from criminal liability for his actions by SCOTUS decree; an opposition controlled Congress that hopefully will vastly curtail Trump’s further grifting and unconstitutional actions.
