Forcing Yamamoto out of the game very early was very helpful. Their bullpen isn't as good as ours. Uribe, Ashby, and Megill have been rock solid, and we didn't even need Megill tonight.

It would be nice to get the sweep. Give that bullpen a nice rest. Murph is amazing and an all around great guy. Without him we wouldn't be here. No way. We would have been a very good team,...like maybe a 92 or 93 win team,...but no way we would be where we are without him. That guy is a treasure. Guarentee that within a year of him retiring there will be a bronze statue of him at our ball park.

Sometimes the fire goes out with an extended rest. I've experienced
that going through the winner's bracket in pool tournaments.
Don't know much about him, so I'll take your word on that.

This will be his third year in a row winning the manager of the year award. The thing I like best is he is so humble, down to Earth, just a nice man that really cares about the individual players. Its refreshing.

You're guy Chuck Tanner wasn't too bad himself back in the WE ARE FAMILY days. I've got a half of a century of emotional investment in this thing now, would be more but didn't get into MLB until I was around 12. Been a longgggggggggggggg time coming,.....would be nice If I could finally know what its like to cheer for a MLB championship team !!

Tell you something else. That team down in Tampa is DAMN GOOD. If the Brewers can hang on to win the National that is going to be one hell of a World series. Evenly matched and well played. Most likely go 7 games.
