Consumption has fallen because housing prices stopped rising fast. When housing prices are no longer rising quickly, people will not spend those large amounts of money buying houses. In economic figures, this shows up as consumption being hard to stimulate. This does not mean people stop spending in daily life. It means any daily spending is simply too small compared with housing prices. Because houses are just too expensive!
If you ask me whether the economy is healthier now or healthier before housing prices fell, those media outlets with bad intentions will praise the "prosperity" before housing prices fell. But that prosperity was built on the plunder of countless ordinary residents. Some people had to take on decades of debt to buy a tiny place to live. Meanwhile, a large number of homes were bought by rich people who could afford the high prices. These rich people became even richer because they bought those homes.
All of this would directly cause social unrest. What those in high positions did was put an end to this process. The cost was deflation, because the wealth effect brought by real estate also stopped. But because Chinese people generally have more savings, this deflation has had a relatively small impact on ordinary residents, since prices are rising very slowly. They can buy most things very cheaply. That means the money they put in the bank can last a long time.
Those people ultimately chose this path and have faced criticism for it. But is this path really wrong? If the central government decided today to immediately adopt a very loose monetary policy, everything would change at once. But they clearly believe that an active monetary policy must be matched by advanced production capacity. Otherwise, there will not be enough capacity to absorb the newly printed money. That would bring quite a lot of problems.

There are one billion people in this world who live very comfortably, the so-called "Western countries." The root of this is that Western countries can make all the most advanced things. The international financial order is built on this material foundation. And China alone has more than one billion people. If Chinese people want to reach a living standard on par with Western countries, one of the most obvious conclusions is that China must be competitive in all fields of technology and industry. This does not mean China must dominate everything, but at the very least, it must be competitive enough. In the next 30 years, this theme will not change at all, no matter who leads the country.

1) Omar's father was a colonel in the genocidal army of the Siad Barre regime. That means that he never left Somalia as a fleeing refugee, he was actually a fugitive trying to escape justice when he came into the US. FYI:
- Under U.S. law, individuals who participated in oppression or persecution under a dictatorial regime are disqualified from receiving refugee status
2) Furthermore, she might have been more than 18 years old when she applied for that type of citizenship, so her own immigration status might be invalid a) because of her father's illegitimate citizenship, and b) her own fraud for applying as a child when she was not.
3) Omar's sister is the owner/operator of a business (Grit Partners Consulting) that is highly involved with the Somali scammers from the $250M "Feeding our Futures" scandal (they all operated from the same residential address), which has already had several guilty pleas and convictions. Omar's sister has already been subpoenaed by the grand jury to appear there. Grit Consulting received $20M dollars from the US gov't themselves, so Omar's sister could conceivably be indicted herself soon, and if she is, then it's not unlikely that Omar helped her get her US Gov't funds, so they need to know how involved Ilhan was before charges come down and everyone starts destroying evidence. Coles notes:
- Omar's sister was closely tied to people convicted a massive amount of fraud, and is probably about to be indicted herself
- Omar was very likely involved in her sister's fraud, if in fact her sister did commit it
Regardless of your political affiliation, you should be able to acknowledge that Ilhan's whole family has been swirling around the edge of the toilet bowl of humanity for generations/decades, and it appears that they are finally going down.

Dude, it is an indisputable FACT that a case against her is FAR MORE LIKELY TO BE LEGITIMATE than any of the BS that has been pulled on Trump.
Just remember that Trump was indicted for 34 felony counts for a loan that he paid off on time, with the exact proper amount of interest, many years ago, and the bank that was allegedly defrauded stated as plainly as possible that they were not defrauded. It's the only case in US history where fraud proceedings were brought against a person where the defrauded party was n't the victim of actual fraud, and obviously the only one that resulted in a guilty verdict. ALL DEMOCRATS STRONGLY SUPPORTED THOSE WHIMSICAL CHARGES AGAINST TRUMP, shrieking "NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!!".
