If the Dems Win Big in the Midterms, How Much Can They Really Help Iran?

Thank you for acknowledging that Barack Obama said all of those things.

Take a course in basic logic, Boy. I did not acknowledge that former president Barack Obama said all of those things. I merely said that I am not arguing against it. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

Now, I ask you:
  1. does characterizing the shooting of M Brown as "the shooting of a universally beloved gentle giant, who was just out walking peacefully with his friends, when he was shot by police just because he was "guilty of being black", in a neighbourhood that's known for police racism, within a country that's currently known as a haven for police racism against blacks"
  2. while simultaneously ignoring the fact that
  3. A. Brown had just committed a violent robbery moments before his interaction with the police, and B., the officer initially approached Brown because he and his friends were walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic
not seem to you like an overwhelmingly false narrative?

Not in the context of what I already said he MAY have been doing.

If you look at M Brown's shooting from an honest perspective, did the details surrounding his demise really warrant country-wide rioting, looting, and racial violence?

Perhaps. I've seen rioting over other things I see as less compelling.
Is it true for me to say that:
  • telling the truth, even just the part that was verifiable and true on day 2* (Brown's crime, and his blocking of traffic to initiate his interaction) would never have caused rioting, but
  • the false narrative that Barack Obama gave his full-throated endorsement to is the only thing that was causing the rioting and looting?

No. It is merely speculation on your part.

*Facts known on day 2:
  • M Brown had just violently robbed a convenience store moments earlier, so the gentle giant narrative was entirely false
  • M Brown was probably still in an aggressive, violent state of mind from his robbery of moments before, and walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic, seems like a solid indication that Brown was in a nasty mood when the officer came
  • The officer didn't "approach Brown just because he was 'walking black'", he did it because Brown was blocking traffic

Perhaps. But the question at hand is about shooting the individual to death.

@Ross Dolan :

Obama tirelessly stuck to a narrative that contained outright lies (some of which were known to be 100% false the very first time he told them), his narrative was irrationally tethered to the spectre of police racism, and omitted key truths, even though he knew that his support of that false narrative was causing widespread racial violence and division.
  1. Obama was smart enough to know that the real story - Brown just committed a violent robbery and then walked down the middle of the street, blocking traffic - would never have resulted in riots
  2. Obama was smart enough to know that his narrative, which was entirely false, was the only thing keeping the riots going
If Obama had a soul, and truly cared for America, and American lives, and American businesses, and American communities, and American families, then the Brown riots wouldn't have last one week.

That's why Barack Hussein Obama IS, and always will be, "The Divider-in-Chief".
And if you had a functioning brain, you would see that your problem with former president Barack Obama has less to do with his comments at this time than with your seemingly racist bullshit.

In any case, the comment you made with which I originally disagreed was WRONG. What you insisted were facts...were mostly just your opinions of some possible facts. Former president Barack Obama was ten times a better, more effective president for our nation than that scumbag Trump.

@Ross Dolan

C'mon, Ross. You're acknowledging that Obama said things that were not true, went along with narratives about the police that fostered racial mistrust towards them for no good reason at all, and insinuated the worst about that incident at every turn, etc.

Literally every statement that Obama made about M Brown "erred towards mistrust and racial division", right?

Even if he just said "People in the black community have all had these run-ins with police. We all know the feeling of having police officers pay extra attention to you or stop you to ask you questions, just because of the colour of your skin", he was making those comments to throw shade at the police constantly.

Constant shade.

Constant mistrust.

Constantly acting as if there wasn't enough being done to keep the police off the backs of young black men.

And it was so bad that a lot of Democrat supporters were saying that "the police need to be defunded!" The Obama narrative was so pervasive and so entrenched in the minds of Democrats that it was almost a majority of them trying to rationalize defunding the police. As if that was ever a realistic sentiment.

At no point did Obama ever make an assumption or insinuation that people were wrong to characterize Brown as a gentle giant or the police officer/police in general as a racist.

So after all that, how can you possibly doubt that he was inciting the violence?

He knew that the violence was occurring. He knew that his own narrative was THE reason why it was occurring. He had to have known... He is anything but stupid. He is an extremely clever individual. And all the clever things that he says about M Brown et al work together to make black people angry. A lot of those things are untrue, and he NEVER touches on any of the facts that help to dissipate that anger.

Barack CLEARLY wants black people to be angry. Clearly.

Once again you are giving an opinion about what former president Barack Obama wants...and by identifying it as "C;LEARLY", you suppose what you dream up is FACT. It isn't, Boy.

Get over yourself.

And you ought really to move over to the shallower end of this pool.

Are you honestly just gonna run away now ffs?
Run away from you???

You gotta be kidding.

I will be here for you for as long as you want to flail. I'm actually enjoying this. PLEASE KEEP AT IT.

Take a course in basic logic, Boy. I did not acknowledge that former president Barack Obama said all of those things. I merely said that I am not arguing against it. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
Go back and read your garbage sentence, dude. You said that "you weren't arguing that Obama didn't say those things".

Ant TBH, it doesn't matter whether you believe that he said them or not, because it is all in the transcript, so there's no room for debate about whether or not he said any of it.

He said it ALL, and that is a 100% proven fact of our discussion.
Not in the context of what I already said he MAY have been doing.
Thanks for the non sequitur, I guess?

FYI the correct answer was: "Yes, Obama's narrative was completely false, but there's a 1-in-a-trillion chance that he didn't know that Brown had just committed a violent robbery, or that Brown was originally stopped by the police because he was walking down the middle of the road, blocking traffic."
Perhaps. I've seen rioting over other things I see as less compelling.
Perhaps, you say?

There were months of deadly riots, that spanned into years in conjunction with other false-narrative-riots, because of M Brown's shooting.

Ferguson was destroyed because (absolute truth version):
  1. A black man committed a violent robbery, so he was absolutely not a gentle giant
  2. then he walked down the middle of a street blocking traffic until a police officer came to talk to him
  3. they had some kind of an altercation and the black man was killed
That is the whole story, from an objective, facts-only POV. Everything there is verified.

But the CNN/Obama narrative about that story goes like this (Obama/CNN narrative):
  1. A black man committed a violent robbery [NEVER, EVER, EVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT!!!]
  2. then walked down the middle of a street blocking traffic until a police officer came to talk to him [NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EITHER!!!]
  3. they had some kind of an altercation and the black man was killed [NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EITHER!!!]
  4. A gentle giant was out strolling with some friends, minding his own business
  5. a police officer, from a precinct known to have racist police officers that's in a country full of racist police officers, drove up to them for no reason
  6. when the officer bothered the black man, for no apparent reason, the black man put his hands up and said "Hands up! Don't shoot!", begging for his life, but the officer just fired a bunch of bullets into his chest, killing him like a dog
My characterizations are entirely accurate. The CNN version played him up as a gentle giant, ignored the robbery, ignored the part about blocking traffic, ignored the fact that there must have been some sort of heated exchange between them, they constantly talked about police racism as the prime motive for the officer shooting him, and the "Hands up! Don't shoot"" story that they told was highly implausible and unproven.

When you look at the difference between the actual truth, and the version that CNN/Obama told, the Obama narrative is completely stripped of every verified truth, and then rebuilt around 1) false positive stories about Brown, 2) false negative stereotypes about racist police officers, 3) a farcical STORY where a cop just kind of randomly chose Brown, from out of the blue, and then pulled a gun for no apparent reason, and shot Brown while his hands were up and he was begging for his life.

I'd like to hear your story, Ross.

Why don't you tell us what your version of the VERIFIED FACTS from day 2 were, and tell us what you think Obama and CNN were saying....?
No. It is merely speculation on your part.
No one would have rioted, based solely on the verified information available at the time, and as more and more proof came in, the reason for the rioting subsided even more.

In the end we KNOW that Brown was just a big, angry loser that violently robbed a store, then walked down the middle of the street blocking traffic, an officer came to talk to him for that obvious reason, Brown tried to reach into the car and steal his gun to kill him, and Brown was shot and killed.

At no point did the facts of the case ever warrant any rioting.

OBAMA'S FALSE NARRATIVE WAS THE ONLY REASON THERE WAS EVER ANY RIOTING.

Then, if you can believe it, CNN PULLED OUT THE "GENTLE GIANT" NARRATIVE OUT OF THEIR ASSES AGAIN WHEN FLOYD WAS KILLED AND USED IT TO START MORE RIOTS.

The Floyd story was Gentle Giant V2.0. What's worse, is all the dummies who got sucked into rioting over Gentle Giant beta version, got sucked into Gentle Giant 2.0.

None of you worthless fucks ever said to yourselves "Hmmmmm... Gentle Giant... Haven't I heard that somewhere before? Whatever man, FREE TV's FOR EVERYONE! BURN! LOOT! KILL!"

Fuckin dummies.

Here are a couple of blacktivists who are about 1,000x as intelligent as you are, talking about the Gentle Giant scams...

If you had a functioning brain then you would wonder why THE PRESIDENT OF THE FUCKING UNITED STATES IGNORED A VIDEO OF M BROWN VIOLENTLY ROBBING STORE AND THEN PRETENDED THAT HE WAS JUST A GENTLE GIANT THAT WAS SHOT FOR WALKING BLACK BY A RACIST COP.

Obama even admitted to being a racist you dumb twat. "We're all a bit racist", that's his quote.

So...are you saying you agree with former president Barack Obama? Trump would not agree with him.

If you had any brains, pride, or integrity then you wouldn't be doing whatever the fuck it is that you think you're doing.
Son, I am getting you to continue with your childish tirade. I have plenty of brains, pride and integrity. Sorry you have a problem with that, but I warned you that you were way out of your league.

I did.

Yes, I did. That does not mean I am conceding that he did. Do you even know how to spell logic?
Learn the language dummy.
Okay. But that is not what I am discussing. So stop trying to divert the conversation. You are not smart enough to do it.
You're not discussing anything, you stupid little cultist. You're stonewalling.

So you are acknowledging all the things that Obama actually said.

And he discussed M Brown, again, while ignoring his violent crime, and then insinuating that he was shot for walking black.

For the dirty losers that were looting, burning, assaulting, and killing, they liked nothing more than for Obama to once again address Americans while pretending that a gentle giant was shot by a racist pig for walking black.

1) He clearly talked about Brown
2) He clearly omitted any talk of Brown's crime, or him blocking the street
3) He clearly alluded to "walking black" as the only reason for Brown's negative interactions with racist police, which was fictional and inflammatory.
There you go again. You make a guess...and then demand that everyone agree with it.'
There's no guess, stupid.

I go by THE FACTS.

Fact: Obama always strips the Brown story of all the facts that explain why the police were there, why Brown was definitely not a gentle giant, why he was likely in a violent mindest at that particular moment, and then he throws the racist police bogeyman in there and says "WALKING BLACK!!!!! 😭.

Like it or not, that's a false narrative, stupid.

When you strip a story of its most pertinent facts and then fill the gaps with slander and innuendo, that's called a false narrative you stupid fuck. Well, I call it a false narrative, but to you it's "a news story".
Grow up.

GROW UP, BOY.
Yuh-huh. That's clearly what's needed here
