WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors are planning to use DNA evidence to prove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) committed immigration fraud, as part of the sprawling investigation into the congresswoman, sources told The Post.

People familiar with the years-long criminal probe said the feds have made use of whistleblowers, government records and now obtained DNA in an effort to substantiate decade-old allegations that Omar — and possibly members of her family like her father — defrauded immigration authorities.


One source said the DNA evidence was critical to proving an allegation that Omar married her brother when she wed Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009 because she was trying to help him get a green card — which never came to fruition.

It’s unclear whether the DNA was taken before or after Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) searched the congresswoman’s home in Washington, DC, last Monday, when federal agents were seen exiting the bungalow with boxes marked “Seized Property Evidence.”

We will see this "Evidence" right after the prior backlog of "Evidence" is cleared on the Reflecting Pool Case, the first and second Comey cases, the Letisha James case and so many others.

This Trump DOJ is just so buried in clear cut evidence that we need to all be patient as it all comes out.

There's a 10 year statute of limitations on immigration fraud committed on behalf of another person.

The Trump DOJ arrested and charged innocent people on fabricated charges of vandalizing the reflecting pool, so nothing they claim can be trusted.

Almost certainly once Ilhan's legal team has a right to discovery this either gets dismissed or thrown out of court on the very first motion they put forth. Something like obvious lies in the representations to get the search warrant or indictment which Trump's DoJ has already been busted for in many other cases.

They know as the sole body presenting to a judge (warrant) or Grand jury (indictment) that since there is no defense lawyer present the judge or Grand Jury is supposed to trust everything they present and say. The Trump DoJ has exploited this with lies so they can get press headlines for a few months, knowing it will likely get tossed the minute the defense lawyers get ahold of what they did and bring a motion.

Judges and Grand Juries however are becoming aware they are being lied to and starting to try and force the Trump DoJ to present some proof, and not just claims, as they see so many prior cases riddle with DoJ abuse and lies, fall apart.
