Like all weakling men, he admires what he sees as strength -- bullying, aggression, violence. The same goes for his male cult members. Remember when he promised to pay the legal bills of anyone who beat up a protester at one of his Nuremberg rallies? Remember when he told police officers they should slam perps' heads while putting them in patrol cars? Remember who staged a fake wrestling cage match on our WH lawn to "celebrate" our 250th anniversary?

Trump is not hard to understand.

If you have a contract with him or his companies and cannot defend it or do not have the money to fight in court, he will treat that contract as meaningless. He believes the stronger one gets to do what they want and the contract is irrelevant unless he still likes the terms, and then the other side better not break it.

When it comes to Country v Country issues Trump only believes the stronger one should determine right and wrong. He does not care about deals, agreement, alliances or pacts, even ones he negotiates, celebrates and signs. If tomorrow he wants a better deal the those can all be thrown out.

What Trump believes is that China, Russia and the US should be able to do is simply subvert every country in their sphere (Hegemon) via military might and make them vassal States. If Trump could help transition the world to that he would gladly see Russia take Ukraine and other neighbours, and China take Taiwan, so then the US could take Canada and Greenland, etc.

it is not just what he "wants" and is what he 'believes'.

Trump truly believes that if he wields the most power then nothing should be able to keep him from anything he wants. Not laws, not contracts, not alliances. Not even ones he negotiates and signs. The only thing that matters to Trump is 'do you have the power to enforce it'.

It truly is that simple. he thinks 'if you do not have the power to enforce it then nothing matters but what i want'.

Once you understand that, you understand every decision you see Trump make.

Reread my post as you did not understand it. I did not put any moral judgements on whether or not those Hegemon countries should or should not be able to take their target countries. I merely said how Trump thinks and that is the Strong get to do what they want. Sometimes that could be the right thing to do and others wrong, but Trump does not care about that and only thinks the strong get to do what they want.
