Everyone understands that Socialism is not Communism, right?

What the idiot Trumppers do not understand is that Capitalism versus Socialism is not a 0 sum game.

There are no purely Capitalist nations, there are no purely Socialist nations…. Because that doesn’t work.

The argument is about the correct balance.

Responsibility doesn't pay the bills. Successful corporations and small businesses pay the bills.
Responsibility can lead to success, which will lead to paying the bills.

If you would sell more aftermarket warranties, you might stop complaining about those with money.

We have always had a mix of socialism and capitalism. 250 years of it.

You cannot find a country we would define as a success who have not had that mix and in fact if you look at the US and other countries peak health and growth it was when that mix was at its highest point. When the things the right call 'socialism' are at their high point.

America post WW2 'socialism' and through 'Reconstruction' was on a continuing increasing path to a high point and everyone from the working poor, to the middle class, to the uber rich did much better.

It is only since the uber rich decided that looting the MC and below was an easier way to increase their wealth then investing in the country, that America has gone into a decline stage.

They cant understand the complexity of a "mixed" economy. THey are mostly black or white people, they do not understand anything else.
