Agreed but the alternative is open borders, communism, DEI regs and attempts to shut down the oil industry and turn the entire state of Alaska with its abundance of natural resources into a national park in the quixotic dream of making the weather a couple of degrees cooler.

You’re probably right. But Do you see a way back from the abyss for democrats ?
I suspect there will be a repudiation of Trump next week. Eventually Dems will get their ruler along with a complicit congress and we’ll be back to open borders, onerous DEI regulations ( my wife can tell you all about the useless hours spent trying to comply with those that resulted in nothing), throttling our natural resources, no cash bail for violent criminals allowing them to murder innocent victims, income redistribution favoring the irresponsible, etc.
And once again we’ll end up with another far right government.
They both overcorrect.

The problem though is that because they are stupid (Trump calls them "poorly educated" like @Rusty Bell 65 ) they do not realize it.

This is another blatant example of Trump increasingly mocking his supporters to their faces...

- Trump identifies his supporters as "poorly educated" = him thinking they are gullible and stupid despite whatever schooling they have.
- Trump says he could "Shoot someone and not lose a vote" = him saying they lack all morals.
- Trump says "no matter how stupid a thing he says they will laugh" = him mocking them for being unthinking sheep
- Trump says "we are getting super rich" at a time they are having record struggles with "affordability" = him saying 'stfu and take it'
