Leftists have to cheat to win, and once you elect a leftist, he will cheat with everything he has to stay in power forever.

Lula, who was losing badly (68%-32%) demanded a voting "extension" of 3 hours to begin after all the polls had closed, so that Lula's people could enter the polling places and adjust the vote count. This "extension" was approved and ordered by a Lula-appointed Supreme Court judge.

So Brazilians now know what Americans felt like in 2020.

Brazil has long has governments that oscillate between radical Left and Right. It is one of the major reasons Brazil has remained an economic basket case. The radical Left comes to power and fucks everything up. A hard Right government is elected to replace them. The hard right can't institute the changes to fix the economy because the country is broke. The hard Left comes back into power and the country slides deeper into poverty and privation.
 
The only way leftists can win is to cheat. They lose fair elections, so they've given up on those.



Of course, every time leftists cheat (which is every time, to the maximum extent) they have to feign indignance at its mentioned, as though they are going to somehow fool someone.

No, they supported individual rights, free markets, and limited government. Those are Right of Center ideas. Leftist ideas are: dictatorship / massive, intrusive, government, society being more important than individuals and limiting individual rights, and heavy-handed government control of the economy.

There is NOTHING free, equal, or just about Leftist government.
