El Sayed is more the all American kid growing up to appreciate the American dream than most of congress did.
Born in America of immigrant parents. Becomes Captain of teams in the 3 sports he focuses on (football, lacross, wrestling) showing leadership and trustworthiness.

That is the American dream kid to adult story and the only thing you guys can counter with is lies and exaggerate bullshit.
He's the quintessential American immigrant story character. Parents came here for a better life. Kid grew up in the 'burbs, played football, was a scholar athlete, was a Rhodes scholar, graduated from Oxford, has two advanced degrees -- a PhD and an MD. Worked in public service as Health Dept. director. Isn't uber rich, knows and cares about people of the middle and lower income classes. Wants better for the citizens, including a national health care plan for all like all other first world countries enjoy.

Government run, universal healthcare will almost certainly not be better. Show me one current government run healthcare system where that is uniformly true. Not the VA. Not the PHS. Certainly not the IHS. Military? Hardly.

The government runs healthcare. That is Socialism.
It is if the government is given control over it. If the government is regulating private companies, like they do with utilities, the line blurs.
Welfare is Socialism whether it is used in whole or part.
The New Green Deal is Socialism in the form of Statist Capitalism. The government decides winners and losers in the market.
