Trump doesn't have any tariffs; the United States has tariffs, and We the People want those tariffs. They bring in lots of money, they force competitors to make concessions and generally enforce US national interests.

We definitely need to keep tariffs. It would be stupid to eliminate them; we would be giving everything away.

If the few remaining GOP senators know what's good for them they will likely support the Democrats in getting veto proof majorities on a number of bills.
