FUCK REACHING ACROSS THIS ISLES WITH MAGA GOP LAP DOGS. I don't want to hear that shit next year. Every fuckin time Democrats gain majorities, the country demands we all suddenly get along and work together. They never want that shit with Republicans, not ever!!1793825769159.png

Democrats should not "Reach across the aisle" in terms of seeking compromise legislation, etc but they should push out very sensible and clear legislation that really targets the working poor, and that will help recover some of the damage Trump did to them as he pushed more and more up to the uber rich. This will be especially true as Trump next round of cuts to medicare kick in that impact the working poor more than any one else.

With laser focus the Dems need to identify those pain points and speak clearly to them. Say 'this legislation is targeted at reversing Trump XYZ and putting more money in the hands of the working class', then welcome any magat republican who wants to sign on to it, to do so, and as most refuse to and Trump Veto's it, make sure the voting public knows.

Between now and 2028 the Dems focus has to be putting forth a ton of 'average citizen help legislation' while Trump then veto's it making it clear to the voters that if they want those things to become real, they must keep Dems in charge and put in a Dem POTUS.

You do realize Democrats don't have a veto-proof majority, right?

You can scream about refusing to work with Republicans all you want, but if you expect to enact legislation over Trump's veto, you're going to need Republican votes.

That's not some sentimental demand for unity. It's how our government works.

Compromise isn't a favor you're doing Republicans. It's a political necessity.

I see where your "Why can't everyone just get along?" went out the window after election day. your good faith isn't reliable when your party gains back control of relative time logistics for the predetermined rule of law outcomes, next two years.
tyrants change, tyranny operates same way all the time in history and current events.

Will they continue with their DEI, woke, open borders, allowing males to compete against girls in sports, multiple sexes and genders , lockdowns, and depriving school kids with an education, which got us Trump and MAGA?

in some states they will. this is why this is a short lived wave. Talarico is going to be forced to fight against those crazy people, or totally alienate himself in Texas. He ran as a moderate.

Didn't he think there were six genders before he walked that back, realizing how that wouldn't play well?

that is digging into old stuff from his past

he ran as a moderate in this cycle

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) was re-elected. Gill won Denton County, TX by +3.6.

Talarico won Denton County by +8.

Hume is not going to like this guy for long: View: https://x.com/ClippingWings/status/2118004615035678946/video/1

They all say that kind of stuff. We had a dem. senator, Mark Begich, who was much more beholden to Obama than he was to AK. He was a one termer.
Sullivan went along with whatever Trump wanted rather than listen too his constituents. The race isn't called yet but he's in trouble.
Peltola went along with whatever Brandon's caretakers wanted. A one-termer.
Murkowski's one of the few independents in congress. And she's managed to survive.
So we will see. I'm hopeful.

like taxing the hell out of them, and attacking the companies they work for.
and that will help recover some of the damage
Causing damage does not recover damage, Kewpie.
Trump did to them
Trump didn't damage any business, Kewpie. DEMOCRATS do that. The last economic depression caused by Democrats (Biden/Obama) destroyed many businesses. Mandani bullshit has DESTROYED many businesses.

as he pushed more and more up to the uber rich.
He didn't. DEMOCRATS do that.

Medicare has not been cut, Kewpie.

Same old lies and buzzwords. *yawn*

So you want to cancel the tax cuts on everyone (including the poor). You want to attack the companies people work for.
