“Trump signs executive order bringing IndyCar race to streets of DC”

Is this what President’s do? Organize auto races? And last I knew, Executive Orders were serious matters, not employed upon the whim of the sitting President

It wasn’t that long ago the then MAGA, teabagers at the time, attacked Obama, calling him a Czar because of his use of Executive Orders. For the record; GW issued 291 EO in eight years, Obama 276 EO in eight years, Biden 162 EO in four years, and Trump, in five years is up to 454 EO and counting, 231 this past head alone. Where are the Czar portrayals now?

And all this only further hints that Trump is planning to make this July all about him. Not the celebration of the country, the Founding Fathers, our history, but rather Trump, commemorating Trump, and if anyone dares question the egotism, Trump and MAGA will label them haters of America.

Poor anchovies,
This is a wonderful idea. Hopefully, it is scheduled along a protest route.

Never said it wasn’t, rather using the idiocy of the declaration to expose the abuse of executive power and the total hypocrisy of MAGA, what happens next week if Donnie declares via another EO to make MaraLago an official Opportunity Zone entitled to preferential or reduced tax treatment

Love that idea, but it is already in effect.

UFC and NASCAR? Anything that upsets the drones is brilliant, lol.

Ah, “Indy Car” isn’t NASCAR, and you had to have a NorthEast urban Democrat educate you on auto racing

And what the hell does UFC or NASCAR have to do with commemorating our Nation’s past?
LOL, even better, I didn't even read your post because it's irrelevant, just the same tired Trump-obsessed bitching from a radicalized libtard like you I've been watching for decades.

It's hilarious watching the left seethe and whine because you're missing that 'normal' gene entirely.

Newsflash, genius: there will be plenty of history on display, but it'll be a massive multi-day celebration with something for every actual normal person. Racing and UFC are just two highlights among dozens of events. Both are pure American, and whether your elitist soy brain wants to admit it or not, UFC has been one of the fastest-growing sports on Earth for years, and racing's popularity is so massive it doesn't need your approval to exist.

Don't worry your delicate feelings, there'll be plenty of wine-and-crackers side events. I will say, I heard they are not providing safe rooms with aroma therapy and stuffed animals for those with coping problems, so you should know that up front should you want to go, lol. Of course, you'd never lower yourself to attend anything that celebrates American exceptionalism without gagging on your own virtue-signaling first.

I have a sincere question for anyone here on the left. What would you do to celebrate our 250th Birthday??

I am sure if Trump ever reads this he will thank you for your suggestion.

Of course you don’t, never expose yourself to anything that might challenge your AM radio view of the world

Not focus on auto racers and UFC fights, can’t say the Founders come to mind every time I watch a NASCAR event, auto races and fights go on all the time, semiquincentennials only come about ever 250 years, time for appreciation and understanding, not entertainment

And what is going to really lay an egg on the celebration is your Messiah trying to make it and everything surrounding it all about him, not the Nation, not the Nation’s history, but Trump, it is too big a stage for a narcissist as himself to ignore

LOL, you poor bastard, you truly don't get it, do you? Now I'm starting to feel a twinge of genuine pity for you too. This grand spectacle isn't tailored for your ilk, and frankly, no one loses sleep over what the perpetually aggrieved radical left thinks. After all, your camp has made its hatred for America as subtle as a fireworks display.

I posed that question at the end for good reason. What would you do to celebrate our 250th? I sincerely doubt you and an entire symposium of your JPP comrades could brainstorm any ideas for celebrating America's 250th that doesn't devolve into self-flagellation. If by some miracle you did, it'd only why divine intervention spared us Kamala in charge for this important milestone in human history. (I know that's lost on libtards, but again, the normal people understand how incredibly successful this little never before attempted experiment has been.)

That EO you're wailing about? It's merely one jewel in a crown of festivities, a masterstroke from Trump as per usual. Why? Because it lures out reactions like yours, laying out the exquisite pathology of your cult, again. Meanwhile, the real backbone of this nation, not the chattering pundits or armchair revolutionaries, but the everyday people who keep the gears turning, they'll adore it. Families who could never swing tickets to these spectacles will swarm the capital, reveling in free events that blend raw American grit with unapologetic patriotism.

Your gripes? Pure icing on the cake. They're like a trusty litmus test: if it sends a libtard into histrionics and tears, you know you've struck gold. Those tears? They're the sweetest validation. :flagsal:

Indy car is the US alternative to Formula 1 racing as the later only allows one race per nation on its circuit (Germany gets 2 due to being 'grandfathered' in). A single F1 race in the US will not drum up the kind of fan base needed to make it profitable, so it rarely happens that the US participates.

Indy car uses the same format as F1 but with different cars to a different standard to obtain the same feel and results but allows for a full ticket of venues for a racing season. That makes it at least potentially profitable.

Now Democrats hate fireworks displays

It is the nations 250th birthday, just like it was it’s 200th, 150th, 100th, even 50th, all of which were celebrated, it is not the country’s first rodeo, all the noted dates were celebrated, it is anything but a “never been attempted experiment”. And now scheduling an auto race and UFC fight is a “master stroke,” I guess because Trump did it

Anyone can swing tickets” to an auto race, most communities, especially those that favor auto races, have several every weekend

Your posts have gone from regurgitating the predictable useless insults to flat out comedy, keep it up

Do not know why you went off the topic, but while there, Indy is not an alternative, other than open wheeled, the cars are radically different, just the cost alone is dramatic. F1 doesn’t limit one race per country, it occurs that way do to demand, the held three F1 races in the US last year; Miami, LasVegas, and Texas. F1 doesn’t market the US, largely cause they don’t have to, they have a world wide audience

Indy doesn’t use the same format, they couldn’t, nor need to, extend the costs

I’m a better, I don’t usually wager on auto races, but I am in a friendly pool that covers different types of racing including autos, having to handicap allows you pick up a little understanding
