Okay, Reich is a nothing special liar... err, lawyer with a background in "soft" liberal arts. He's never in his entire life been in something like economics, business, or subject areas that require a grounding in subjects that require producing tangible, measurable results. His bio indicates that he's somewhere between the far Left and radical Left politically.

There is nothing to indicate that he's more than some average to mediocre management type that filled a chair. As far as I can tell, it is simply because he had school connections, like being a Rhodes scholar and meeting Bill Clinton in college, to make him particularly fit for any of the executive positions he's held.

He has no particular training in economics, and most of his positions politically on the subject are open to derision.
