17.5 million early votes from people who did not vote in 2016

That number is yet another in a huge pile of problems for Donald J. Trump. The majority of those voters are going to vote for Biden It is beginning to appear that the turnout/likely voter model that is used by many pollsters (especially Republican leaning pollsters like Rasmussen) is going to be off. If that's the case, Republicans simply won't have the votes to hold the Senate. Before a single vote is cast on Tuesday, Texas will have set a record for the most votes ever cast in an election there. I now have a strong feeling that this election could very well be called on election night. These folks ain't voting for Trump.

not sure we can extrapolate much data from early voting. I mean trump is up in early voting numbers in florida now. soooo?

We don't have to extrapolate. We know who is winning early voting. Most of these new voters have registered with one party or another. In this case, most have registered as Democrats. So we can assume that those 17.5 million new voters are voting mostly Democratic, and they are the type of voter (either new or did not vote in a presidential election) who are often not counted as likely voters. There is no need to extrapolate from that. It is a bloc of voters that were not expected to turn out.

The only way this election doesn't turn into the debacle that Trump and the right are hoping for is if it is called Election night. A Democrat landslide is all that will prevent Trump, Barr, GOP, McConnell, Fox, and all the demogogues from accepting the traditional transfer of power that has occurred forty five times in American history, as we've seen, "cause we can" is the guiding principle of the Trump and the Republican Party these days

And unfortunately, I don't see that landslide happening

Or a Trump landslide... Seriously though, folks who didn't vote before are not any more likely go to Biden than to Trump. It is literally one of the reasons the polls were so terribly wrong in 2016.

trump is currently leading early voting in miami dade county. clinton had a 2:1 lead before election day in 2016

From your own link Concart. "Among those 17.5 million voters, Democrats hold a nearly 2 million vote advantage over Republicans, with roughly 7.5 million votes coming from registered Democrats and 5.5 million from registered Republicans, according to the Decision Desk/TargetSmart. An additional 4.46 million came from independents who did not vote in 2016." You stupid fuck. I bet you cannot count to 20 if you take off your shoes.

Yes they are. Not only do we KNOW they are registered Democrats (in most cases) , but they are also newly eligible or skipped 2016, a demographic that is hugely in favor of Biden. There is no question this bloc is voting heavily for Biden. None.

Again, NOT going to age well... You are a moron, completely ignorant of mathematics and early voting data analysis...

that's not a retort. and my post will age perfectly well because it's literally objective reality as we currently stand.

We know that this is not true because the story literally tells us the numbers. Math much or did you just fail it in High School?

Not according to your own article Concart. Read it. You stupid fuck.

So? Has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

given we are in a pandemic this is not a normal year as it pertains to early voting. It stands to reason more republicans than normal will also be early voting, hence why democrats are under performing in many liberal counties so far compared to historical averages.

Polls show independents overall breaking toward 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden,
who holds a large polling lead with early voters in key states, while President Donald Trump maintains a significant advantage among those who have yet to vote."

Read much?
