Where was all of this security on 1/6? It could have *easily* been averted with a small fraction of the current military presence but it wasn’t. Who dropped the ball? Does anyone even care? I guess the main thing is some idiots managed give Democrats and the left—a gift.

Also, since people here think the National Guard is for the show to make us think Trump supporters are terrorists, the event on 1/6 blows that theory out of the water.

The GOP didn't have to endorse & encourage them. Cruz didn't need to give them inspiration. Hawley didn't have to pump his fist. Trump didn't have to call the rally and let everyone know to "fight," while his minions talked about "trial by combat."
And certainly, MANY Republicans didn't need to keep baselessly claiming that the election was stolen, and that their votes didn't count.
The right made their own bed on this. It's an important lesson. And I hope they learn from it.
For now, they're going to have to deal while Democrats govern, and change the course of America.

I don't get why so many in D.C. inauguration day? Is ANTIFA planning something? Republicans aren't going to trash local businesses and vehicles and stuff.
The election was stolen. However, Biden didn't do it, he's just the potato those that did it installed.

Is he a swampy politician? Why yes he is, but he's not as bad as some.
I just don't care at this point. There is no reason to vote when they're going to cheat elections as egregiously as in 2020 and get away with it.
It's time to pursue other avenues. Maybe the guilty people will come out in the wash.
Worrying about Biden being inaugurated is not something to worry about. Securing the future integrity of our elections is.
Fixing corruption in Congress should also be top priority, yet somehow it is not.

Leftist idiots torched that church over the summer and your president was made to head for the bunker for security, so the only thing ‘unprecedented’ was that the riot took place at the Capitol. In fact, there was a *very recent precedent* for rioting and violence on the Capitol grounds.
So that excuse is weak to put it mildly. Doesn’t the Speaker of the House have a role in managing security?
That was wrong of them to do that. But the church is hardly a government.
And I suppose Pelosi does have that role. Why would she expect people to break in the Capitol while they were doing their jobs?
