If we can blow this kind of coin on such a bad idea, we can help the disadvantaged build better lives. And when that is done it breaks the cross-generational poverty for the whole family line to follow.
Once people get a taste of prosperity, they naturally impart that into their children.
For every dollar we spend helping people, it comes back one hundred fold in a stronger economy.

Actually, immigration into the US has remained relatively steady for decades.
It is not suddenly a problem. People didn't really care about it that much until the advent of Fox Propaganda Channel.
