Marco Rubio will primary for President.
I for one would like to see him win the Republican nomination and go on to become our 48th President.

Probably but it should be the other way around. The Republican party will not abandon the opportunity to have the incumbent Vice President run. Rubio will be Vance's running mate.
Actually, no. Rubio was a RINO for a long time and actively worked to undercut MAGA early on. Rubio could stand to atone for his sins during Vance's tenure, and Vance stepped up to replace Judas Pence. I think Vance/Rubio is a great call.Probably but it should be the other way around.
You mean to say you wouldn't vote for Rubio?
And then you woke up!
Well, you make a good point. I do think however that Rubio has changed.Actually, no. Rubio was a RINO for a long time and actively worked to undercut MAGA early on. I agree. This is precisely why I welcome Rubio showing that he is onboard with We the People and will push MAGA, that gone are the days of demanding amnesty for illegals, that gone are the days of aligning with the DNC just to oppose Trump in a hissie-fit. Remember, Rubio was one of the first people to catch TDS ... but simultaneously one of the few to ditch it completely.Well, you make a good point. I do think however that Rubio has changed.
I may have at a point earlier in his career, but after his Trump act, there is no way.You mean to say you wouldn't vote for Rubio?
Prior to backing Trump early on, I wanted Ted Cruz.I agree. Rubio was my guy before Trump announced that he was running in 2015. I was advocating Rubio for President to all who would listen. I didn't appreciate, however, his amnesty program, and I disowned him completely when he started throwing temper tantrums at Trump winning the nomination. I had to apologize to practically everyone I knew for my Rubio-advocacy.
I raised an eyebrow when Trump put Rubio on the team, but I was certainly willing to give him another chance. I totally agree that Rubio is knocking it out of the park when he engages with world leaders and executes his duties as lead diplomat. Nonetheless, I want to see more atonement, but I will give Rubio all the leeway that he needs.
Vance, on the other hand, has done his job admirably, and he is the Vice President. I don't know if you noticed but Trump is specifically dividing the spotlight between Vance and Rubio, specifically for a Vance/Rubio ticket. I believe that this was the plan from the beginning.

Oh, Jeebus, take him, get him out of Texas.Prior to backing Trump early on, I wanted Ted Cruz.

That's where I was too at the time (and before). Oh boy did my mind completely change on ol' Teddy though over the years.Prior to backing Trump early on, I wanted Ted Cruz.
I soured on Ted over the years as well and warmed up to Rubio more recently. To me, JD is still an unknown entity. I know he is making the right noises but IMO he's still wet behind the ears. That's where I was too at the time (and before). Oh boy did my mind completely change on ol' Teddy though over the years.
