Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
Nothing was done to the govt of course, but Clinton saw too it that many of the survivors of the gassing and fire were sent to prison!!

Despite weeks of efforts to get the Davidians to surrender, the government learned that the group was, indeed, prepared for the apocalypse. The Clinton Administration decided that the siege was taking too long, and Attorney General Janet Reno authorized the use of CS gas, even though it was known that the Davidians did not have gas masks for the two dozen children who were still inside the compound.

Early on the morning of April 19, federal agents brought in heavy equipment to break down the walls of the building and they spent hours filling it with a dangerous mix of CS gas and methyl chloride that has been shown to be potentially flammable.

When the compound engulfed in flames, killing 76 men, women and children, who were trapped inside, the government insisted that the fire was set by the Branch Davidians as a way to commit suicide. However, in 1999, the FBI admitted its agents had fired pyrotechnic tear gas grenades at the Davidian compound, which could have sparked a fire.

waco was the epitome of todays society, that they showed most do not give a damn about the law, nor do they care about due process. It was all about the ends justifying the means to most of america and we became less free because of it.

I wonder if the right would think of the Branch Davidians as such martyrs if they'd been a bunch of lawless hippies growing weed in their compound, and talking about subversive things like bombing federal buildings.

And two years after this, we had the OKC bombing which most people think was engineered by clinton, with the help of timothy mcveigh. After the Waco murders, the militia movements exploded in america so the govt gave us the OKC murders and blamed it on militia groups. And with the help of our useless tv nets, the tactic worked. Don't think it would work today though since the internet would expose the govt involvement like it did with the WTC attacks.

And the corporate state didn't even have everyone under constant surveillance back then! And no drones. And nobody walking around with their own tracking devices in their pockets that they themselves paid to wear everywhere.

But as for how the survivors were death with, now you know how your society has always dealt with minorities, labor and social movements that challenged what the power structure demanded behaviorally.

It's just that this one hits you empathetically.

Actually, STY would have admired them even more!
