I don't need to know the details of the program or the nutritional values. All I need to know is that it's a parent's responsibility to feed their own kids.

Just make the kid a sandwich. Bologna or peanut butter on bread with a banana, apple, orange or hand full of raisins.....stuff like that has worked for generations.

It's only lunch. Nobody needs a full meal for lunch. Most kids eat at noon. School's out at 3. You go home and have a few crackers to hold you over till supper.
