7 States who won't mandate actions/bans/precautions (guess what 'color' they are)...

This is about those 7 states. Not New York. Not Italy.

have you never heard of that portion of New York called Little Italy?.........your lack of education is limiting your horizons.......Meanwhile.......there are more people down with the virus in New York than in all seven of these states combined, so yes........it is about New York.......

Then start a thread about New York and "Little Italy". Go right ahead and we can discuss that.

They're not free-thinkers. They're just doing what their right-wing bubble tells them to do. And even if that wasn't the case, they'd still be wrong for thinking they can't catch the virus.

What right wing bubble is telling them that? Do you have evidence of said bubble?

I don't think anyone is saying they can't catch the virus. People catch viruses all the time. Do you want to be protected from ever catching any virus ever again? Is that what you are looking for? No more infections?

Do you want a War against Bacteria?

Do you want to eradicate trillions and gazillions of viruses and bacteria?

The right-wing bubble is the New Right media that pretends it's anti-establishment, publishes Fake News, and flirts with the Alt-Right. Stations like Info Wars, Breitbart, and the plethora of "Anti-SJW" channels on YouTube are all part of the right-wing bubble.
Trumpcucks believe anything they hear in the bubble because they think it has credibility simply by being outside of the "mainstream liberal media." That's why conservative Fake News gets shared so much more than liberal Fake News.

One helluva time to give US fake news, huh? And think of all that MONEY REPUBLICANS made while TRUMP was President. POOF it's gone! Well except at least 4 REP SENATORS who sold off before the crash!

have you never heard of that portion of New York called Little Italy?

Little Italy barely exists anymore. It is a historical location, and a tourist location, but not really a functioning place where Italian immigrants come to.

Oddly enough, it has been displaced by Chinatown. Make of that what you want.

This kind of 'political' distinction is just too predictable. The states with, the most uninsured, the most obese, the lowest academic tests score, the most kids receiving school lunch programs, food stamp usage, most abortions. They same 4 or 5 states show up consistently. No surprise that this is the latest at which the top 5 or 6 'top' another chart.

Many states governors, both parties, are being given kudos for tell the Trump admin fuck you, we'll do what we can do given your DEARTH of information. Florida bought 1/2 tests kits from a source on their own, paying for it on their own.

Rachel Maddow name-checks 7 states refusing to take necessary precautions to protect people

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow name-checked seven states that are refusing to take significant precautions to protect the citizens in their states. There are, however, municipalities that are taking the steps, but the governors there are doing little.

Oklahoma City, for example, has instituted a ban on bars and restaurants along with large gatherings and gyms. The state of Oklahoma, however, has declared a statewide emergency, but Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) has done little to handle the situation. Over the weekend, while coronavirus was spreading throughout the city in the wake of transmission from Utah Jazz basketball players, Stitt was bragging about eating out with his family.

“Even as there is more and more focus of what states are pioneering new ideas, about what they can do to shut down and slow the spread of the virus, it’s also worth noting; we spend all of this time saying ‘Oh, California is trying, this the Bay is trying this, this city is trying this, schools are shut down here.’ We’ve been talking about the places where new stuff is being tried, where new strictures are being announced, look at it from the other side, though, too. It is worth noting that there are a bunch of states in this country that aren’t doing much at all.”

The National Governor’s Association is tracking the state-by-state response and where there are mandated bans of any specific size. There are no statewide bans in Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho and Wyoming.

“There’s no state-mandated school closures. No state-mandated limits on large gatherings. No state mandates on the operations of businesses like bars and restaurants,” Maddow said. These are all states where the Republican governor likely heard President Donald Trump’s directive and is simply choosing to ignore it.

“Now, in some of these cases, there are, you know, recommendations, nonbinding recommendations, urgings, strong feelings, expressed by leaders, and within these states, some schools and some businesses have followed their own lead or followed those urging the nonbinding recommendations, you know, local school districts, having to make those calls themselves, but in all seven of those states, no statewide rules,” Maddow continued.

These are States with a lot of open country in them. They don't need Statewide rules. The manufactured panic is just that...manufactured, by the Democrats.

Consider the Socialist Oligarchy of the Territory of California, with all of it's current restrictions, and the virus is *still* spreading in San Francisco and elsewhere in the territory. Here in Washington, King Inslee has banned groups of 10 or more. I figure soon he's going to try to say we can't have groups of 1 or more. Bars and restaurants are shut down and many are going out of business (they can't withstand this). Yet, the virus is still spreading around Washington, and it is still considered 'the epicenter of the virus outbreak'.

Sorry dude, 12,392 cases in a population of 372 million people is INSIGINIFICANT. 195 deaths in a population of 372 million people is INSIGNIFICANT, especially when those that are dying were already very old or had damaged lungs to begin with.

NO State needs Statewide rules. This flu season is milder than many of them. Fewer infections and fewer deaths.
