It's about all the States, including New York, Washington, Idaho, etc.
If you pick out seven to compare to the other States, it is about ALL the States.

What makes you think I am ignoring them?
Yeah, you got us! Because we don't have jobs and 401Ks and houses and lives. We wanted it all to CRASH! You figured us out. You must have a big brain like TRUMP.
People already take steps to avoid the flu.The human behavior paradox. If it doesn't affect me now, why should I do anything?
It's not a good idea to lick the flu.If we could behave as a group, we could lick this thing.
Nope. That would be mostly Democrats and criminals. But not with a Republican population
ravaging grocery stores for anything they can grab like seagulls at attacking an unattended bag of Cheetos.![]()
Breaking news from Dallas County TX: Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins (D) has issued a shelter-in-place order for the county, since the state government (R) is doing very little to stem the pandemic.
My brother, ardent Fox viewer that he is, is very pleased about this. He no longer believes the "Democrat hoax" meme either.
I live in Texas and what you are saying about Texas is UNTRUE for example Dallas county has a shelter in place order. The Governor has issued a number of measures that limit the spread of the coronavirus. It seems like Washington state and New York state . both blue, have the highest number of coronavirus cases. So don't believe everything you hear on Rachael Madcow. This kind of 'political' distinction is just too predictable. The states with, the most uninsured, the most obese, the lowest academic tests score, the most kids receiving school lunch programs, food stamp usage, most abortions. They same 4 or 5 states show up consistently. No surprise that this is the latest at which the top 5 or 6 'top' another chart.
Many states governors, both parties, are being given kudos for tell the Trump admin fuck you, we'll do what we can do given your DEARTH of information. Florida bought 1/2 tests kits from a source on their own, paying for it on their own.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow name-checked seven states that are refusing to take significant precautions to protect the citizens in their states. There are, however, municipalities that are taking the steps, but the governors there are doing little.![]()
Oklahoma City, for example, has instituted a ban on bars and restaurants along with large gatherings and gyms. The state of Oklahoma, however, has declared a statewide emergency, but Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) has done little to handle the situation. Over the weekend, while coronavirus was spreading throughout the city in the wake of transmission from Utah Jazz basketball players, Stitt was bragging about eating out with his family.

“Even as there is more and more focus of what states are pioneering new ideas, about what they can do to shut down and slow the spread of the virus, it’s also worth noting; we spend all of this time saying ‘Oh, California is trying, this the Bay is trying this, this city is trying this, schools are shut down here.’ We’ve been talking about the places where new stuff is being tried, where new strictures are being announced, look at it from the other side, though, too. It is worth noting that there are a bunch of states in this country that aren’t doing much at all.”
The National Governor’s Association is tracking the state-by-state response and where there are mandated bans of any specific size. There are no statewide bans in Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho and Wyoming.

“There’s no state-mandated school closures. No state-mandated limits on large gatherings. No state mandates on the operations of businesses like bars and restaurants,” Maddow said. These are all states where the Republican governor likely heard President Donald Trump’s directive and is simply choosing to ignore it.

“Now, in some of these cases, there are, you know, recommendations, nonbinding recommendations, urgings, strong feelings, expressed by leaders, and within these states, some schools and some businesses have followed their own lead or followed those urging the nonbinding recommendations, you know, local school districts, having to make those calls themselves, but in all seven of those states, no statewide rules,” Maddow continued.

Actually because of public health laws he does have the authority to make such an order. The fact that this is an epidemic/pandemic gives the government unusual powers. He doesn't have the authority to issue such an order.

Well hopefully he stays safe & doesn't catch that hoax & become deadly ill..
He doesn't believe it's a hoax. In fact, in just two weeks he's gone from "the media is overblowing this" to being very concerned. He's been taking precautions anyways.

I guess you haven't been to Washington. Most of Washington is rural.
I fucking hate red states and every single citizen who makes them red; you already know that.
There's no way that they should be part of the same country as civilized states.
They're a fucking drain on decent society. All non-progressives are.
If I had the power, I'd have Covid 19 kill every single Trump supporter in the world and not give so much as a sniffle to anyone else.
The fact that this isn't happening proves by itself that there is no god.
I live in FLA. WE don't have inless self imposed AND D'Santis let THOUSANDS of kids come here and stay at/on the beaches. Some local authorities took care of their own areas. I think they finally closed down bars and seated restaurants FRI, maybe as late as today. In the meantime it was PARTAAAY time.
Now many of those arrogant little shits will go home to towns throughout the east and mid-west and take their germs back home.
They prob wouldn't of minded being quarantined right there on the beach..They're not free-thinkers. They're just doing what their right-wing bubble tells them to do. And even if that wasn't the case, they'd still be wrong for thinking they can't catch the virus.
and their economies will rebound faster than others and have lower unemployment
