97/72/43 - Approval numbers of the SOTU speech.

I support the presidents tweets. I think he’s found an effective way to keep the media spinning in their hatred. So much so, they have undermined their effectiveness. They would hate him, no matter how dignified he tried to be. His tweets control them.

How about you list what you THINK were lies, boasts and exaggerations... then we can go from there?

THIS

was going to ask the same but the esteemed Subpar Freak beat me to it.

Trump was boooooring. Reading on scrip the entire time

That isn't Trump, he wings it and when he does, it is more passionate than the SOTUA.

That's a lazy analysis. It's really the whole "love it or leave it" thing.

While it's a generalization, I'd say that the left has a brand of appreciation for America that is more tied to its ideals rather than its reality. Criticizing our practices and pushing for reforms is often seen as "hating" America, when in fact it is wanting America to live up to its principles and be better than it is.

Did you believe that in the 60s or 70s?

And the Most transparent presidency ever.

:clink:

If he can stop himself from tweeting about Russia and saying something stupid, that speech will do him some good.

I don't see much chance of that. He undermines himself more than the Democrats undermine him. He'll say something stupid about the "investigation" (quotes will be his) and flush all the good down the toilet.

That's why we libtards love him so much. lol

His tweeting and transparency ... got him elected to the highest office in the land.

If his name was Joe Biden ... the Left would just giggle about his tweets and call it a gaffe.

Yep, I remember how excited and ecstatic the Left was when he won the repub nomination. The Left thought it was the best thing that could have ever happened for them.

:rofl2:

"Feb 19, 2013 - Vice President Joe Biden recommended today that if you want to protect yourself, get a double barrel shotgun: If there's ever a problem, Biden said he told his wife Jill, just walk out on the balcony here--walk out, put that double barrel shot gun and fire two blasts outside the house -- I promise you whoever is ..."

Just a hilarious gaffe :palm:

Joy Reid doesn't speak for liberals everywhere.

It's such a lazy thing to say "liberals hate America." There are military people & intel operatives who are liberal who put their lives on the line all of the time for America. There are liberals who commit their entire lives to improving other lives in America.

Liberals didn't run on a slogan that America wasn't great.

Democrats in Congress do. How else do you explain then sitting on their hands during Trump's speech the other night?

Here is a clue for you: "Official statements are on official White House letterhead, and signed by the President".

:thing1:

LOL

I admit it - I set you up. The WH actually said that his tweets are official statements.

Oops. Sorry about that - I really shouldn't do that. Funny, though.
