A gut punch in Ohio: Nearly 1,400 laid off at truck factory just days before Trump rally

Sipping tea from beer mugs with his coworkers, Kyle Bos listed the ways his life is changing.

Bos has two daughters, with a third due in January. At the grocery store, five items cost as much as a full cart once did. And on Wednesday, Bos and nearly 1,400 other people were laid off from their jobs at what had been the Navistar truck factory in southwestern Ohio.

The layoffs — occurring just three days before Donald Trump's rally on Saturday at a nearby high school — were large enough to basically erase an entire year of job growth in the greater Dayton, Ohio area. And they are one reason why Bos, 30, plans to spend the final weeks before the November election canvassing votes for Democrats.

Asked how many times he voted for Trump, Bos held up three tattooed fingers. But he said he's done with the president.

"Something has to change politically in this country," said Bos, a member of the United Auto Workers who identifies as a centrist.

Kelly Savage-Radich grew up in a Republican-supporting Ohio family and voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020. But today the mother of three, who lives in a Montgomery county suburb of Dayton, is facing the prospect of having to sell one of her family's vehicles due to the high cost of gas. Her grocery bill has gone up about $100 a week.

She lays the blame squarely at the Trump administration's door.

"He wants his name on everything," she said. "I'm sorry, but I don't give a shit whose name is on the Kennedy Center."

What are dems going to do for the middle and working class? It was Biden who made it illegal for rail workers to strike. Remember?

Biden created jobs at a very high clip, remember that?
Biden is a senile old man who did whatever Antony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, and George Soros told him to do. Two narcissists old men being elected back to back to back goes right over your head.

Read up on what Soros wrote about the need to create countless refugees willing to work as slave labor in the US and Europe.

You’re going to have to site the exact quote from Soros. I don’t believe he would say such a thing.

All you have to do is look at the countless refugees let into the US and Europe. You think that happened by accident?

@Matt Dillon wants to send them the message to keep the faith as he believes the pay off and good times for the average citizen are just a couple years away, as JD Vance is now messaging saying to just give the Trump admin two more years.

So, you have no quote? You are just speculating based on conspiracy theories?
The Soros directive on the 10s of millions of refugees that needed to be allowed in every year to grow capital was sent out to every Western leader. It was all over independent media.

I'm watching Power to the People and have no need to prove a well-known fact.

I'm not watching that, so here you go:

If you discount the jobs that returned after the end of the Chinese Disease lockdowns, Autopen created almost no new jobs.

It seems Bridem's administration was just making shit up too.

In fact, if you look at the embedded graph, Autopen really didn't change the rate of job growth in the US at all.

Supporting those who have already migrated isn’t in anyway being responsible for the migration.

Also, “forced migration” like those escaping war zones.
