A person is standing in front of a car...........

That defense is not sensible. When in danger of being struck by a car mere inches in front of you the natural reaction is to step out of the way. The idea that you will save yourself by shooting the driver is asinine. There isn't time even if you have already drawn your weapon and aimed at the driver. The car is already in motion.
More homunculus fallacy. You, nor I, know what was in the officer's mind. His thinking could just as easily have been, I'm standing here so she will stop the vehicle and obey the commands of the other officers present. The idea that there is only one course of action allowable to the officer is not sensible.

First off, any police training stresses never stand in or behind a vehicle, your presence is not going to stop it

Second, she didn’t gun any engine, and as the video shows, she was turning the steering wheel to the right and the tires were already aimed to the right, she wasn’t aiming for the officer

Third, the officer had moved off to the right when the vehicle moved, his bullets were fired from the right as indicated by their placement in the lower right side of the vehicle. In addition, he had his hand on his weapon ready to employ it even before the auto moved

Conclusion, the officer was shit in executing his duties and consequently a women is dead. Should he be charged, probably not, not enough convincing evidence in either direction to establish guilt. If anything was learned it is that Ice is poorly trained, on a mission they themselves don’t understand, and their deployment is purely political
Points all the MAGAt flip-floppers refuse to admit. Their Orange Jesus told them what to believe and they believe it 100%.

So says the expert on police training...

Question: Do all federal law enforcement officers get the same training and qualifications?

Name one thing every democrat on this board is not an "expert" at. With never having done it at all. You know that whole "identity" thing. Just be what you think you want to be without ever doing it.
As I just informed your Red Hat Club comrade, I have some experience, and as I told him, it is also common sense, do you actually think standing in front of a vehicle is going to stop it

How long where you in law enforcement? Not behind a desk that is.

So no civilian law enforcement. As you and I well know Military and civilian training are two different things.
All police work has same basic fundamentals, as I noted, “some experience,” and regardless, even more applicable, it is common sense, doesn’t even have to be taught

Not many basic fundamental's between Military training and civilian at all. I will however agree common sense is very uncommon now a days and cannot be taught. I agree with that.

Never said there was, rather, among all police training, military or civilian, and your attempted deflection off of the common sense truth was noted

You are implying your service as an MP makes you more qualified than most to address this incident. I am pointing out correctly it does not. There is zero deflection there.

Never said that either, now you are lying, rather I did respond that I did have some experience, even added “sorta,” to the poster claiming I was pretending to be an expert, none of which implies I was more qualified than others

And you did deflect, we’ll be more direct, is it not stupid and useless to stand in front of a vehicle intending to stop if it starts to flee the scene?

Zippy. Go back and read your posts, go back and read my posts. You lose. Again.

Yet it did JUST EXACTLY THAT. You just may want to brush up on the best use of the word asinine. It doesn't work well at all the way you chose to use it.

The answer to your question would depend on the entirety of the facts.

If she only clipped him, I would say she did not have the intent to commit murder or even attempted murder.

She might be guilty of reckless endangerment. The police should, if the entirety of the facts support it, arrest her for reckless endangerment.
Doesn't matter whether she attempted to run the ICE agent over or not, for she certainly did run right at him while he was in front of her auto. He simply protected himself from a possible 2 ton vehicle ramming in to him. She paid the ultimate price for her actions--be it planned or not. Game over for that law hating activist. She's DEAD, get over it.
