“A Strategic Failure in Iran”

“The Trump administration has led the United States into war with Iran, assuming it could secure a quick victory with limited costs. They were wrong”

“There was no question whether the United States and Israel could inflict major damage on the Iranian regime and its military. The war has certainly achieved discrete tactical successes aimed at weakening Tehran. Yet the central question has always been the strategic end such force is meant to achieve.”

“Here, the administration’s strategy is divorced from its ostensible aims. Among the many contradicting rationales floated by Washington to justify the attack, two have been most prominent: eliminating Iran’s nuclear program and effecting regime change in Tehran. Washington has achieved neither of these objectives, nor is it in a position to do so.”

“When the war ends, Iran will retain the technological expertise and likely the materials necessary to sustain its nuclear program. War has made future negotiations far more difficult, if not impossible. Tehran may now see nuclear weapons as essential—an outcome Trump has perversely incentivized.”

“The other rationale was regime change. Trump not only failed to remove the regime, but he has likely made it more extreme.“

“The Trump administration has failed to accomplish the two principal aims of this war. Also the Trump administration greatly underestimated Iran’s ability to disrupt the global energy market so quickly, and these disruptions are likely to impact the market even after the war ends”

As I asked before, which is going to be the greater screw up in Trump’s legacy, the way he addressed Covid or his Iran fiasco?

The big question is how will this affect the economy, of which Trump promised to improve.

Amazing how uninformed some MAGA, for beginners, Baghdad is in Iraq, not Iran, and the Great Satan is what Iranians call us, duh

And America isn’t finished, but with your clown calling the shots we have been setback considerably, not only did he display his incompetence, embarrassed the country, but also likely made Iran stronger giving them another means to threaten the world

Try to keep up if you intend to post, only make yourself look foolish

Both were handled so poorly by this administration, I doubt history will judge either to be the greater screw-up based on the information we have now. If the Iran fiasco has further negative complications that come during the next decade, which may well hsppen, it may prove to be the greater screw up.

I am told that even the CIA warned against this, The zionists manipulated Trump into signing off even though the entire American apparatus told him it was a bad idea.

The old Trump never would have been so badly used......this is the dementia.

Now they claim it is about opening the strait. The strait that was open until tRump attacked.

They lie constantly.....this was not about regime change either.....this was always all about terrorizing and destroying Iran.

That Iran was ready to fall, that a decapitation strike would do it and then Trump would be a hero in the world to include Iran was a lie the Zionist Bastards told to get Trump to sign up.

Mah, it was about ego. tRump desperately wants someone to be afraid of him.

He tried to cow Zelenski and failed.

He attacked Venezuela and they just rolled with it.

Iran is laughing at him.

Now he's talking about attacking Cuba.

No....he was sure that he would be a hero......one of the greats of all time history.....people would praise Trump for 1000 years.

In his dementia he believed it.....and a great many people encouraged him to believe it.

You do a good job of making yourself look foolish on your own, so you don't need any help from anyone.
