'They don't do fact checking anymore!' Donald Trump says New York Times should shut down permanently and calls for everyone involved in the Brett Kavanaugh 'smear' to resign after their sexual misconduct story fell apart

The President ripped into the publication on Monday, claiming the news outlet should 'close its doors and throw away the keys' after it had to issue a correction regarding a story that included a new allegation against Kavanaugh.

The story revealed a previously unreported incident where a man claims he saw Kavanaugh's friends pull down his pants and push his penis into a girl's hands at a Yale party in the 1980s. The correction, however, admitted that the women involved in the alleged incident didn't recall it ever happening.

'I call for the Resignation of everybody at The New York Times involved in the Kavanaugh SMEAR story, and while you're at it, the Russian Witch Hunt Hoax, which is just as phony!' he tweeted.

'They've taken the Old Grey Lady and broken her down, destroyed her virtue and ruined her reputation... She can never recover, and will never return to Greatness, under current Management.'

I think this shows how bad a shape Ginsberg is in, they are setting up for another fight over a nominee! Trying to let Republicans know they need to nominate a more moderate conservative, just a thought! I would in return nominate a female conservative, and watch as the tiptoe the line knowing bashing a female would not do them well!

Impeachment of Kav is not going to happen. It is just telling people there was a rush to put him on the court and what was revealed about him was true. He is Trumpian in his treatment of women. He was abusive and went over the lines. He was a spoiled kid above the law and norms, just like Trump. We don't have do-overs. Kav can molest RGB, Kagan, and Sotomayer now. Kavanaugh was a terrible pick. He was emotional and unable to show judicial temperament. What a mess he is.
