My estimation of this boondoggle of a retreat is Biden totally screwed the pooch. Rather than taking time to pack and ship equipment, and evacuate Americans and Afghan us workers. Not to mention giving the population time to escape he went into panic mode and just left everything to the Taliban. Hell he even took vacation at Camp David.

Yes I know he is fully briefed and never really on vacation but perception is reality.

Other presidents knew Afghanistan was an unwinnable mess. They did not have the guts to do what Biden did. Trump wanted us out even faster. He failed at accomplishing it. We will save money and lives by leaving. We do not have the power over the country and we never did.
The military says there are no hostile actions at the airport. The evacuation is going well. I am sure rightys are pleased with that.
