I set the video in slow motion. It appears that the guy was standing by the opened truck door, as if he was waiting for the "jogger" to come. And the "jogger" ran around the truck as if he was trying to avoid the guy. In the unedited video, it appears that the guy shot him few feet away from him. He didn't appear to be in any danger at that point.

What does the Alt Right have as a defense? They point out that in more recent photos that both victims looked like adult blacks... So what? We should not allow murder of people just because they look like adult blacks.
The McMichaels appear to have racist tattoos. That would not be a good enough reason to kill them, but it would be a better reason. It would certainly support Arbery's desire to get away from them... Along with chasing him and trying to run him over.
