Correct. This all goes back to 1972 and the 'Southern Strategy' of the Republican party to win back the Southern states. Republicans have been dog whistling for decades, and they want to pretend now that they are outraged by this. While I appreciate the never Trumpers in the Republican party, they are not without blame. They allowed this climate of wink, wink racism to prosper and grow among the Republican party.... Trump is just more overt, and he has emboldened the racists in this country.

So anybody could have stolen the gun and it was more likely that a random white person did it, since Satilla Shores is a predominantly white neighborhood.

Except that you are implying either Democrats can't be racist or there aren't racists in the Democratic Party and that would be false. You're also implying that if we simply vote Democrat none of this would be happening and that's also false. Sh*t like this has been around as long as the country has.

It's not a crime to kill an unarmed man if it's done in self-defense. Can someone do serious bodily injury or kill you without a weapon?
